I just think about how the many, many people who live here who don't get a vote but have roots here and consider Britain as home...what must they think of the decision of the British people.

Overt racism from people I used to count as friends, alarms me!!! I love our diverse country and the way in which the young generations accept this as Britain. It really does enrich our young people's lives.

Now we have to back track and much of he progress we have made has gone! Absolutely ridiculous!

Why the fuck would you vote with your heart on such a matter? It's not fucking X factor. I realise there was a lot of propaganda to sift through from both sides which is why I allowed other, better informed, better educated people to do it for me.

And how. Please please somebody tell me how this will make anybody's life better? Not one leave person I have spoken to has been able to give me an answer.

And who do we have to see us through these years of turbulence and negotiations? I can't name one politician who I'd feel confident with let alone anyone from the leave camp.

Can I just ask those of you who voted to leave, did you examine the policies & attitudes of those leading that campaign, they have all made clear ( in the past) their belief that the NHS needs to be privatised (or what is left of it ), red tape cut for business aka protection for workers rights, health & safety, & the end of the welfare state. What kind of country do you want to live in is this it? Is this the victory for ordinary people you wanted to see? I could go on about the short& long term consequences for British industry ,our universities and our financial services sector.

when you vote. you hand your concerns ( & hopes ) over to politicians who you feel have your best interests at heart.
One of those concerns was immigration & I'd like to see more control yes - how that control will be precisely implemented I don't know? but does it matter? I'm not the one who'll be running the country they are. & I trust them.

Likewise MitzyLeFrouf - I've got some 'remain' friends who now, after seeing that the world is still actually turning, are actually quite happy we voted out ( they just didn't have the balls to vote out themselves )
But of course, you only hear from the very vocal social media types at times like this, ( people who like the sound of their own voice quite frankly ) the rest of the country just quietly get on with it keeping their opinions to themselves.
