Work

Is there a way forward

Stuck in a deteriorating work situation. Boss undermines me, passes half completed tasks (correctly completed by me ) to colleagues. Never tells me what is happening. I haven't been in trouble or told I am doing anything wrong or received warnings. When i asked how I should work I get a non committal answer.

Has anyone been through similar, how did it play out?

Depends on how robust your HR is & your own personal situation.

It's likely you've lost your trust now in the organisation, so leaving may be the best option.

However you could also go to your boss, call them out on the behaviour directly and say you are prepared to escalate it if the matter isn't addressed

Then go to their manager / HR.

Think about what you want the outcome to be.

Sounds shit. Do you have for,Al appraisals / reviews / check ins with your boss?

is he like this with other staff members?

< typo alert: AI appraisals should be Annual Appraisals 🙄 >

Crazy, i virtually wrote my own appraisal. Boss is too busy to meet with me and if I ask for a meeting I get no reply. If it is this bad now, It would be even worse if I went to HR. I am not strong enough to go through that. I feel stuck with no way out. The behaviour is targeted at me.

If you aren't willing to pursue with HR and / or insist on a meeting with boss, then you need to leave.

Honestly I would present myself if their office and be firm about a meeting but I know that approach isn't for everyone.

Why do you think you've been targeted like this?

I wish I knew the reason why my boss dislikes me. I guess bosses just suddenly turn against people. I must have said or done something . Why boss can't tell me why or let it go is strange

In my experience no. People leave managers, not jobs. Some managers should not be in their position and some just listen to yes men/people.

I would start looking elsewhere before you waste any more time.
