pre approved buyers/ bidders on e-bay

a seller has an item listed for but it says for pre approved buyer/bidders only and to e-mail seller to be put on pre approved list this i have done but the seller hasnt replied has anyone ever brought anything through one of these auctions.

Yes I have. I think the approval is automatic once you click on it (something to do with linked to other site so they get points/cash for clicks or something)
If you still can't buy, either email them or just don't buy from them! Their loss!
