Love the dress need and bloody well done DD.

Xmas Envy creme I saw them at the Freddy Mercury tribute but would love to see a full concert. DD talked me into taking her to see The 1975 in a couple of weeks. I don't know their music and YouTube appears to inform me they are boring Xmas Hmm.

Hope you have a great time.

RL keeping me busy too. Had dinner out today, £42 for 3 of us. DH is away for meetings. £3-ish on chocolate and sweets due to dragging DDs out of their cocoons for errands.

Oh creme that's brilliant fab history repeating itself! Can't beat Slane for its a natural auditorium, wow how exciting Smile

My spends have started €50 waxing & two/three week manicure. This should see me through Christmas I hope. Heading to hairdressers next with dd, surprising her at school gate now, grabbing deli counter lunch. taking her to hairdresser with me & when I'm getting nails done & out for supper. She'll be off to ladybirds then & I can get ready for wedding in peace.

Went to doctors got cervical smear done, and booked in for bloods to figure out why I've no periods. It's possible they scraped too much when I'd a d&c done 3 years ago following pphHmm

Omg creme! Jealous!!!!

I've finished Christmas shopping. Yay!!!!

Feel so tired/stressed today. Sad it's been a busy week. Not helped by the last two nights being restless due to going for drinks (two mulled wines last night...mmmmmmm).

On the plus side. It's Friday and a long weekend for me. Cannot wait for 5pm!!!!

Oh My God, I am SO excited! I just got tickets for Guns N' Roses, in London, in June! !!! This was my first concert I ever went to (Slane 1992) when I was 14 and DS will be the same age I was then and it will be his first concert too, 25 years later! £349 on my credit card and worth every penny. I haven't had any interest in going to a concert for YEARS, but I've always said if Guns N' Roses reform, I would go, and now I am! Beyond excited!

Thank you for qualifying what you said about winter need. I appreciated it. Smile I'm glad you enjoy your dog walking.

I'm having another quiet day today and writing very detailed food diaries for a dietician. Interesting stuff, always.

Collecting an order at lunch from maplin. Will need to go to asda home and might fall into hobby craft. There are so many trip hazards at this retail park it's wicked. Grin
£32 on dance uniform for DD
Also suppose I better buy food at some point.

I think it's February that gets to me if anything wrecked, as it seems to have been winter for so long by then. Although, the bulbs start to peep through and that cheers me up.

Glad you like the Sinful nail oil mammy, great little unknown product for a few quid/euros! It's a very tough time of year with young DC and working long hours. The added school activities and work ones, present buying, seeing extra folk really put a strain on don't they? I will been out 4 nights this week and my DC are adults really. Next week is just as bad.

Girlie Our local panto is fabled round these parts and tickets sell out in days. It's just as good as the big city ones. Glad you enjoyed it. I've always exercised, it's just the last 5 years with a back injury that I haven't. I'm like a different person for being fit and healthy again. Even mentally, must be all the endorphins!

Boots have some great offers at the minute don't they Mummy on beauty and make up products. Well done on your Revlon deal.

I'm out and about this morning, Boots, M&S etc. Nails getting done. Then back for an Ocado delivery. Out tonight.

I love our seasons but am always ready for spring after Christmas!

Will be nsd today. We haven't got much money anyway and I still have a few presents to buy. Actually I think I've only got my step dad plus some chocolates to add to my little brother so that's not too bad. I need to get some cards too ASAP have been really rubbish.

Hi all, a late post before bed.

We have been out to a local panto, was good fun. I was the official first aider so got the tickets for free which was a bonus! Luckily no one needed any first aid so could just enjoy the show Grin spent £2.50 on drinks and nibbles.

Life seems crazy busy atm, got the work do tomorrow night which I'm really looking forward to and then lots going on this wend as well.

Need you are a fitness fiend Grin I am jealous really, I try to get fit but just seem to get more tired Wink I imagine there is a 'point' you have to get to where it becomes enjoyable rather than painful!!

I don't like the dark evenings but do like cosying up and hibernating, am fed up with it by the end of January though!

Prob won't get chance to post tomos and imagine we will be on a new thread by the wend Shock

Interesting seeing your perspectives on time of year & feeling low. Both myself and dh are currently wrecked but life has been busy lately & we work long hours. Exercise would definitely help though & is something I plan to make time for this coming week.

I'm up in my bed now as feel like creme described last night & we've the afters of a wedding tomo. Enjoy your party.

I've my Christmas cut, colour & blow dry booked in for tomo so hair will be sorted for wedding, beauticians eyebrow & underarm wax and shellac nails. Mine have grown since need recommended sinful nail oil to me & a friend told me about sally Hansen nail strengthener.

Started this at 8.30pm!!

£59 in Aldi - bit of a shock! I picked up some nice frozen party treats for Christmas Eve eve and some other things and it rocketed my spend.

£4 on a new extension lead, Christmas tree lights.

£6 in boots, revlon had a good freebie when you spend £15 so after a voucher I had £6 to pay. I got £34 worth of freebies, a lipstick and a new eyeshadow set for that. Very pleased.

Thank you. She sort of lives in DS's shadow academically as he's pretty clever really, so it's good to see the confidence boost that she can achieve well too.

Yep, definitely agree about the vitamins. I think high stench vitamin D and just a normal multi vitamin are the reason my mood doesn't drop as dramatically a it used to, in the dark months.

Lovely dress, Need. I actually have a top that's similar to your dress. I bought a couple of years ago from Dorothy Perkins, but I only wore it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, at the supply teaching agency's night out.

It is important to get natural light but in the absence of that I found vitd supplement helps. Cheap one from Morrison's. Also vit c with zinc
