£26 on new sheets in TK Maxx. White company sheets have been sent to poor quality control.

£20 for a new thermal fleece dressing gown for DH, he's so toasty the heatings only on for a couple of hours a day.

£7 set of 4 mugs in John Lewis.

£6 fizzy wine and marked down food in local co-op.

Weekly food shop tomorrow.

Happy new year!

Glad you got treated to lunch economy, we said goodbye to our sarnie toaster this week, all the non stick has come off. It is amazing how things add up, isn't it? I went in for bread and salad, spent £56Shock.add £2 on roads and £45 on petrol and my run of NSDs is well and truly overSad

OH is home, with enough pills to make him rattle and a slight flea in his ear about his eating habits. He spent about £100 on his medication. We don't know what the clinic cost but they are sorting that out directly with the insurance. Drat, just realised I forgot to pick up X-rays, have to wait until Monday now.

Glad everyone enjoyed themselves!

Fairly spendy today as I braved town: £46 in primark on some new pjyamas for after the baby comes, vests, socks, tights etc. Not sure how it all added up, but it did.

Then £17 or so in Boots on dummies and formula powder (learnt our lesson from first time round), breast pads and other unglamorous items.

Then £33 on 3 maternity bras - thought I'd just get cheapo ones for now, then wait and see how breastfeeding pans out before getting better ones.

My sister treated me to lunch (cheese and tomato toastie, the king of lunches!) and I waddled into.town, so only had to pay the bus fare back.

Thanks Rogue

Glad you had a good Christmas, and without breaking the bankWink. I spent more on the actual Christmas dinner than usual because of splashing out on a whole turkey, but still less than previous years overall. Need to get some bread and salad today.

Hello All, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas? Ours was lovely - made all the better because I have spent a fraction of what I usually spend at Christmas Xmas Grin. Strangely, none of us has felt deprived at all!!!! Xmas Grin.

Have had a number of NSD's - I think we are about 5 days in with no spend, which is brilliant.

Have just done an online food shop which is about £100 (don't want to go over this) - this is the first food shop since December 21st and will last us into New Year.

Adora, I do hope your DH feels better soon as is able to come home. Digestive problems are awful.

Ali we had a lovely Christmas, thanks, how was your's? Just the four us and and loads of turkey scoffed by OH in the freezer now.

OH is having a night in the clinic, he has a digestive thing that he doesn't take proper care of. He's okay but they couldn't let him home after the mega pain killers. DD's missed the dentist today as I was trying to get at least one bit of the kit we have here to actually phone BUPA and let them hear what I was saying. Never mind, the clinic have spoken to them now.

I feel a slice of Xmas pud coming onXmas Grin

NSD's here the last two days, but today I need to pay for the dental X-rays and then dental treatment for DDs. Might need a coffee too if we're out too long.

Helen hope you enjoy Kew Gardens.

economy my DH got me a lovely fleecy one last year with a hood from BHS. I went mad when I saw the bag because their stuff is awful usually but it's really lovely.

Off for our free day out at Kew Gardens today. Taking lunch so, apart from train fares, it should be an NSD. It's chucking it down though Sad

Wow, economy, didn't realise you are due so soon! Seems no time at all since you shared your good news :).

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. DS and I are off to Ireland in the morning until the 4th January, so I'll wish you all a happy new year now, as I'm turning off my data while I'm away. It's staggeringly expensive!

PS, anyone know where I can get a nice, cosy dressing gown online? What with EconomyBaby due in the next month, I think I'll be needing one. Tried M&S and John Lewis, but they all seem a bit grandma like.

Hello and a belated Happy Christmas from EconomyVille Smile.

EconomyBoy got given far too much for Christmas by my in-laws. I know they like to spoil their grandchildren, but it also makes me slightly cross, as half of the stuff he won't even play with, or I'll have to exchange for something more suitable. Yep, I am being ungrateful, aren't I?

Nothing spent here since xmas eve, but I am now browsing the sales online...
