Try local butchers and greengrocers! They are desperate for people to order from them.

Maybe your local fish & chip place etc would also deliver?

Agree local shops. We've had a couple post on FB that they're offering free delivery. Worth checking your local FB pages.

Yes lots of local shops delivering now.

If you are in a town check your local Facebook, lots of our local shops (incl food) are doing home delivery now. Presumably desperately trying to still get money in whilst government isn’t allowing them to get insurance claims- imagine they could use your support

I booked Iceland last week with their earliest slot (tomorrow). Just a normal shop. Not holding out too much hope with regards to what I'll get!

Amazon pantry doesn't seem to have much. I have a delivery coming tomorrow but it is all out of stock now and I can't find replacements. I am not supposed to go out at all now so poor DH is going to look around the corner shops on his way home

There’s more availability in click and collect in some areas.

Where do you live? I managed to get a Tesco slot for my in laws in Norwich for next Wednesday which is better than some places. (They are saying they don’t need it and will just pop to the shop which is a different story! 🙄)

Think it will depend on your location - but all are at the absolute limits of their capacity.

And of course no one has any paracetamol.

You do wonder what's going to happen when schools are off or more people have to isolate their entire families. "Stay at home and get grocieries ordered online, they'll leave them on your doorstop." Not if you can't get a slot for 3 weeks they won't.

I shop with Ocado. The virtual que to book a delivery is 2 hours and they are only letting existing customers book.

Oh and that includes click and collect hear to.

I was going to start a topic on this, I have one booked for this Thursday and one booked for the 2ed of April. Can't change them or make any more now totally fully booked. So is Sainsburys, I always do our weekly shopping online and this is totally not normal. Guess I should just hold onto the slots I have and go out inbetween for anything else we need. DS has a cough so we need to isolate.

When I went on the Tesco app yesterday I managed to get a delivery slot for Monday 6th April, but they had click and collect slots a lot sooner. Could you get someone to collect it for you?

It's not quite the same but Musclefood are still offering delivery although taking a bit longer than usual. I have used them a lot over the last year. Obviously only good if you're not veggie/vegan.

Check if you're in an Amazon Prime Now area. They don't quite have the same variety as the supermarkets but they do everything; chilled, fresh, frozen etc...

Iceland are still doing home deliveries.

Nope, I noticed this Sunday morning, can always get a Sainsbury’s booked in within a few days, often same day, now there is nothing at all for 3 weeks. I managed to get one of the last click and collect slots now they’re all gone too.

it seems at the moment they are all a bit overwhelmed, but things will come right again. May take a while though

In the meantime I suggest amazon pantry if you really need things delivered, and gousto/hello fresh etc meal kits
