Is it just sitting in a spare room literally for 7-14 days? Food being left outside your door etc?

Also we have a tiny spare room but no bed not sure what we would do. Unless one of us slept ona sofa

Bless you Cherry...take care of yourself.
My Dr friend has said although key main symptons are cough, fever, breathing difficulty. WHO have mentioned milder symptons at the start of runny nose sore throat etc.

Yes different rooms for sleeping.
A runny nose suggests cold rather than Coronovirus. Key symptoms for Coronovirus are sore throat and persistent dry cough, temperature around 38C with tiredness reported by 40% of people.

I have an underlying lung condition so maybe a bit worse than most with sore throat (searing pain in ears on swallowing), headaches (which I never usually get), coughing a lot. Raised temperature with hypersensitivity and a mild degree of bronchospasm.

Feel fine with paracetamol but taking other stuff prophylactically, to prevent worsening.

We have a spare room but no bed. I have a runny nose and sore throat. Keeping my distance from DH and DS. Will use downstairs toilet for me but will have to bath upstairs but will clean out daily.

I’m unwell but my husband isn’t particularly.
I’m mainly in bedroom but have a TV, internet etc.
We have separate lavatories and I am using en suite but he isn’t.
Lots of windows open.
Laundering bedding daily.
Walking around garden.
Sleeping separately- which we probably would if I had high temperature anyway. He’s coming up but keeping a distance, so not near me.
Bleaching handles, taps etc.
Mugs and crockery on hotwash in dishwasher.
Friends brought fish and chips last night - left on doorstep and honked car horn. Waved from car.
Ive arranged to play scrabble with a friend - two boards in separate houses and Skype.
Skype calls to and from children and friends.
online deliveries .

I am self isolating for 7 days as I am unwell. I don't know if it is CV or not as there are lots of viruses doing the rounds and the NHS aren't testing anyone who isn't hospitalised.

I have had a Tesco delivery to the door (normal for us anyway), I'm not hugging the DC or DH, or preparing food and we are all washing our hands lots.

I should be cleaning down bathroom surfaces, taps, light switches etc but can't as we're out of antibacterial spray Hmm.

All very similar to what you'd do if you had noro virus or flu though.

But I'm keeping also keeping the symptomless DC off next week. Not a fun prospect when I don't feel well, but necessary, even if not government advice yet.

There is a section for CV threads.

Please leave the rest of the boards free for the rest of us to be able to use without reading thread after thread of the same thing.

If we have to we will be doing it as a family. We don't have a spare room or second bathroom so will will continue to live together but be extra vigilant with the cleaning. That's the best we will manage.
