@LuckyMoonstone ahh constipation the first inkling of pregnancy for me 🤣

@MrsCristianoX yeah I’m not in pain so don’t wanna waste the time of 111 or the urgent care centre. I can’t tell if I have got some mild stomach pains or not, I’ve been a bit constipated this week so that’s not helping as I already feel bloated and a bit crampy from that 😂 hmmm looks like I’m gonna have to wait and see what tomorrow mornings test looks like

@LuckyMoonstone there's no question both tests are absolutely darker. It's just now if you want/need a doctors help. I have a feeling that epu would bring you in for a scan in a week if you weren't in pain (if in pain you would get seen today) But in my case (I wasn't in a huge amount of pain) they told me to keep doing pregnancy tests during the week up to the scan and cancel if negative.

@bunnykins123 I got ovulation cramps by the time he got to bed along with sexy bloating so I went to sleep he went to sleep and my OPKs have dropped like a stone this morning 😂 and the wait begins..

I don’t know what to do. I’m looking back at my pics from last Monday and my FRER today is definitely darker than a week ago. I haven’t got a pic from last Thursday (about 30 hours after bleeding started) but I found my comment on the old thread saying that Thursdays test was as light as the one a few days before. So this is definitely darker than then too, even after heavy bleeding. But it’s not super dark either. I don’t get it?? And I can’t tell if I’m having mild twinges, they are quite low down, to the left of my pubic area, but I don’t know if im just being over sensitive to it as I often get little twinges like that on & off.

@bunnykins123 I’m ok thank you, it’s not getting me down too much. I’m just dying to get to next Friday to find out what happens next and hopefully get some good news

@LuckyMoonstone I totally agree. I think this strengthens your argument that they need to take you seriously. It's just so wrong that you have to go through all this before any investigations are taken. How are you feeling? I hope you're feeling okay overall 💕

@MrsCristianoX how was last night 🙃😉

@emhope great news on your static! I try not to read the sticks as I think they are tres confusing 😂

@bunnykins123 no but I have an appointment next Friday to go over some other tests so I’ll tell my doctor then. Hopefully this CP + evidence of thyroid issues + irregular cycles will make them give me some sort of treatment!

@LuckyMoonstone keeping fingers crossed for you that it is a positive outcome 🤞🏻

I am CD12 today and had my static smiley on clear blue woohoo 😄 the last few months when I pop the tests out and look at the lines I could never understand them and been so confused how they work as the test line was never darker than control line so wondered why I even get the static face….I’ve realised today I’ve been looking at them the wrong way round thinking the test line was control 🙈😂

@LuckyMoonstone I know I'm so so sorry you are going through this. It's rotten enough to have a miscarriage without dealing with the confusion of having positive tests. I SO hope I'm wrong. I think just one thing, with my last early miscarriage, my HCG rose and then was static for a while. It didn't go down or up. It did go down fairly quickly once it did but it wasn't ectopic or anything so I hope that reassures you 💕 did you register the pregnancy with the GP? Hopefully you'll be offered some

@bunnykins123 it’s soo annoying, I wanted it to be over! It takes me long enough to bloody ovulate as it is without having to wait for hcg levels to disappear 😩

Report
bunnykins123 · 21/09/2022 08:53

@LuckyMoonstone hmm, it's tricky. I think it's quite common to get darker tests in the evening but there seems to be a big difference between yesterday and today. I would agree it's probably too light for 5 weeks so my instinct would be to say this is residual HCG given how faint it is. Do you have loads of cheapies? If so I would test again tonight and tomorrow to see if you have any movement. I think if you call the epu they will say to wait a few weeks anyway.

Thanks for the tag ♥️♥️

@LuckyMoonstone I don't want to raise your hopes or anything but I was actually talking to someone recently who had a normal period first month of pregnancy 🤞🏻!

I would ring EPU as others have said , they should scan you xx

@LuckyMoonstone hmm what a conundrum you are. Agree though yes the frer would be much darker than that after a week since your last frer if hcg was rising as usual. But seems quite unusual it’s still hanging around when it was so early like you said.

either way, you could ring if your worried about an ectopic. I know you have no pain and no symptoms. Only thing I know is ectopics can give faint test lines which stay faint and don’t fade away. Because you are still pregnent sormwhere. Not saying it is that. But if you wanted to ring to get checked think that’s totally acceptable.

if it’s not that. Maybe it’s just taking a while to come down and clear. But doesn’t mean you can’t try. You can ovulate with a little hcg in your system as I did after my mc. My test wasn’t totally blank I had a faint line and ovulated that day and actually got pregnant that cycle but also had a chemical. So no reason why you can’t try. If you’ve bled and it was a genuine period. You ovulation will perhaps be somewhere near where expected.

@MrsCristianoX no pain and no more bleeding. I just expected all my tests to be blank now the bleeding has finished, because I’d expect the pregnancy to be fully over once the bleeding is done, especially so early on. I can’t remember with my last two MCs if I got a negative test before or after I stopped bleeding. I literally can’t do anything until I have a frer to compare it to tomorrow 😆

@LuckyMoonstone they are still good lines but if you were still bleeding or sore I'd be ringing someone otherwise just checking again tomorrow? 🤯 if it was me

These are my tests this morning 😕 yes the FRER is darker than last week but it’s not exactly where you’d expect a FRER to be at like 19dpo or whatever I am now. And the IC is lighter than yesterday evening so that makes yesterdays even weirder as this is FMU. I don’t feel like there’s any point ringing anyone until I do the same tests tomorrow morning. I don’t think it’s gonna rise, I think it’s just falling slowly.
