Hi ladies Grin Has anyone tried the SMEP i.e. Sperm Meets Egg Plan? Any success stories or reviews? I'm going to try it this coming month. I'm going into my 4th month ttc. Anyone want to join? 😂

@SemiFeralDalek hopefully it's just little bean burrowing in 🤞🏻

Unfortunately I've started spotting earlier this evening, so looks like another chemical pregnancy is on the horizon and I'll just have to keep looking for my rainbow.

I know you've had a tough few months and am crossing everything I've got for this being a healthy, sticky bean for you. ❤️🌈 Thanks for sharing your chart (useful for those of us still learning how to temp!) and well done on all that BDing, mama! 😅 [/quote]
Thank you my lovely ❤️ I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you too xx

(Honestly, my cervix was in bits 😂 thank god for preseed!)

Thank you both Smile

Here's my chart for this cycle so far. I kept testing with opks and had a high reading (just one, alth2i did a few opks) at exactly 7dpo which I think was potentially implantation.

I'm wondering if I ovulated quite soon after the first peak opk. My tests seem to have got darker in the evenings rather than the mornings, making me 12/24 hours ahead of the "official" premom guesstimate.

Soy isoflavones made me ovulate on CD 15/16, when it's usually around CD 25. I really am just praying this one is healthy. 🙏🏻🤞🏻🌈

Wow @SemiFeralDalek that is amazing news! Congratulations!

Defiantly keeps me motivated to keep doing SMEP and using pressed if I don't get my BFP this month

Hi everyone! Hope you're all getting on OK! My news is that SMEP, soy isoflavones and preseed worked this cycle for us. I got a bfp on Tuesday at 9dpo.

An exceptionally faint line on an easy@home cheapie in the morning and then a solid line on a frer in the evening after a hold of a few hours.

So far the tests seem to be progressing so I'm hoping and praying for a sticky bean who is healthy to be our rainbow baby. 🌈

Hi @purpleskyssssss wow peak on CD29, well done for keeping going with it!! I totally feel the same, it feels much more positive knowing you’ve done all you can and I'd definitely do it again...we didn’t get it 100% right this month due to illness but I know we DTD close to O which is helpful for feeling like we’re still in the running this month.

Aw thanks re the cheapies, interesting to know- have just spotted some awful reviews on the Sainsbury’s own brand ones I had stockpiled so now looking for alternatives! I really hate having false hope so I think I POAS early partly to avoid that...it gets me used to it turning out to be a true BFN if you see what I mean. Whatever gets you through the 2ww I guess! Wishing you so much luck as you test the next few days, really hope it’s your month - you’re not out yet ✨

Finding temping challenging as I keep waking up in the early hours - in fact I had a temp rise this morning which I’m hoping confirmed O yesterday, but not sure I can trust it given I’d been awake for a little bit at 4am 🤔 if anyone has any ideas on this I’d be grateful!

Hey @tothemoonandback21 how did you find SMEP this month? it's my first time trying SMEP and trust it to be my longest cycle yet! Didn't peak until CD 29, normally 14-16! However I do think I will keep it up for as long as possible until I get that BFP! It's made me feel I have done all I can and strangely felt less forced then previous months!

I'm 11DPO today but have had brown CM last 2 days and feel like AF is approaching! I have been using internet Cheapies this month and getting BFN because I am also a POAS addict! I have seen people get negative on internet cheapies and BFP on FR so I don't think they are as sensitive, but for me it's more just POAS otherwise I will keep thinking of testing and end up spending a fortune!! Don't feel too bad when I've only wasted a cheap one rather then £7-£10 each time!

I think if your ok with knowing your likely going to get negatives when testing early then I do think they do help, but that is just for me

Hi everyone, sorry I've been quiet for a bit, busy week! I ovulated late on CD20 so now officially in the 2ww, just 1DPO. That's a lot of days to go 😅 Trying very hard to distract myself and not symptom-spot this time. BBT-ing for the first time which I'm finding helpful as a way of getting SOME information about what's happening in there.

I know this is a rookie question but does anyone use internet cheapie HPTs and would you recommend them? I wish I was someone who could be patient and not POAS early but that's just not me!! I'm not sure if the cheapies are more or less sensitive than the regular ones...

How is everyone getting on? Hope you're all well xx

Long cycles are incredibly frustrating @purpleskyssssss. It would make sense and correlate with a CP if you got a faint like and then delayed ovulation as well.u CP period was rough. So fingers crossed for you this cycle!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I think I posted on the SI thread last week but I've not kept up with it. I've decided I'm going to take each cycle as I go. It's definitely brought my fertile week forward, I'm on day 3 of high/peak opks (last cycle I had a solid week of them) which is annoying because it just seems excessive Grin and I sort of assume it means my body keeps trying and failing to actually ovulate. My temps are all over the place because I keep waking up in the early hours so premom keeps changing my ovulation day.

@tothemoonandback21 I hate 10-12dpo the most Grin fingers crossed for you tomorrow!

@tothemoonandback21 Thankyou, tested at 5am this morning and BFN, also caved and tested yesterday afternoon. I only used cheapies though so maybe too early. I think I’m either 9dpo or 12dpo as have 2 apps which are saying different as temp rise was before peak opk so not sure when I actually ovulated 🙈 will see what tomorrow brings!

Good luck for your new month 🙏

@purpleskyssssss wow that sounds like a long month!! You sound like you’ve well and truly covered all bases though, hope you have a chilled TWW! Sorry to hear about your CP last month x

Sorry I have been very MIA on this post, I have had the longest cycle in history and trust it to be when I decide to try SMEP 💤

I normally have regular cycles, ovulate between day 13-16, this month I had very different ov readings, thought I got my peak on day 24 but wasn't convinced as wasn't as dark as normal, so carried on testing but begin my 3 days just in case, then on day 29 got my actual peak (yesterday), Confused so we go again. On the plus hopefully we have covered ALL basis Wink but on the other half it's been a very tiring month as begin SMEP on day 8BlushBlush.

I think I may of had a CP last month, I had a very faint line but put it down to my eyes seeing things, then a very heavy period and long period and it would explain why my ovulation been pushed back 2 weeks HmmHmmHmm

Hope everyone is getting on well with SMEP can't wait to start seeing everyone's results! Fingers crossed for us all

Great news on the OPK @SemiFeralDalek ! That's amazing, I hadn't heard of those before.

Good luck testing this morning @Bellesjp !🤞🏻✨

CD9 over here...going to start CD11, looking forward to feeling like I'm back in the running again this month! Hope everyone's ok x

I think I’m between 7-10dpo now, probs going to test on Sunday, have been good this month, usually I’m testing from 5dpo 😂 my boobs are really sore and I’m starving all the time but I’ve had that before and not been pregnant so don’t want to get my hopes up! Have carried on with opks a bit and still had some high readings which can be a good sign but again I’ve had that before too lol

Ah wow @SemiFeralDalek that's great! I don't know if I mentioned on this thread, but I took them for two cycles and ovulated about 5 days earlier in each - brought my cycle length down to 26 days. There's a thread going on here somewhere where we are experimenting with doses etc and when

How is everyone getting on? I'm CD 15 and just got a positive OPK! A full 9 days before usual! Also had a slight temp rise, ewcm and aching boobs. So hoping the soy isoflavones have done the job. Been dtd every day since CD11 and will aim to keep going either every day or every other day till about CD30. I'm a little bit amazed though, usually I'm not even in my fertile week yet.

@xoJellyBean aww yes that makes sense! Yes I was on the implant out in august they did give me the pill after but only took for one month as was not going to ttc until jan, but decided to start earlier so when I go Atleast I can do it from the implant date! hopefully won't get to that long though Smile

@xoJellyBean no, TTC #3! Never thought I'd be saying that...! I was really lucky with my first two as I fell quickly without much effort, so feel like there's lots I don't know about all this now I'm actively trying. Bit nervous about it taking longer now I've passed the 35 mark too...x

@purpleskyssssss did you use contraception before trying? I stopped using my pill in October 2018 so when I called up my GP I just said that, she then followed up with asking if I had fallen pregnant since then to which I said no, think it was kind of a loop hole 🙈
