6 days late but bfn!!

Hi ladies!
Just wondering if there is anyone else in the same boat or has been in the past?
Im quite sure that I'm not actually pregnant but just want af to show so I can work out my cycle 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ xxx

Update: AF arrived this morning! I had a hideous headache last night again and then woke up to a BBT drop and very familiar lower stomach cramps AF is here with a vengeance

No idea why my body decided to have a 40 day cycle for the first time in its life. Quite upsetting but also glad to have an answer at last. OH and I are planning a trip to Cuba for my 30th in April so think we might lay off TTC till after then! My nerves can't take another month like this

Sorry to hear that lovely but hope you get a good night's sleep tonight now! No af for me yet, just another shockingly bad headache. I look awful, pale, tired, can barely open my eyes with this headache and keep getting cramps still!

AF also arrived for me earlier today a week late...thanks for the sleepless nights & stress flow!!! Moving onto the next cycle now and looking forward to a good nights sleep tonight at least.

Update: Period has finally arrived! I’m a bit gutted but also glad to sort of know where I am now. Really hoping for some BFP’s for you all! X

@rainbowsSunshine @Maise24 I know exactly how you both feel officially 6 days late tested today and bfn on a cheapie from pound shop 🤣
I really throught I was because boobs have been very tingly and odd pains, my nipples look bigger and boobs look veiny but sadly I must be imaginibg it all as bfn 😬

Why do we do it to ourselfs ??

@Maise24 That’s so freaky because I had a terrible headache last night and went to bed straight after my DD at 7.30! I felt terrible! I’m sorry you’ve had a migraine. They’re horrible.

I tested this morning with that Waitrose one and it was another BFN. Meh. This is miserable. I’m feeling emotional but starting to think that’s just due to being in limbo rather than anything else.

And @desperatelywaiting yes people often dont get their BFP till 2 weeks after AF was due! It just means you ovulated late. You arent out till AF arrives! If you havent got AF in 2 weeks and are still getting BFN I would go to the drs and ask for a blood test. Xx

Sorry for my silence over the past couple of days - I had the most awful migrane yesterday and spent the day and night in bed feeling terrible! I'm exhausted this morning, feeling weepy and anxious about everything and nothing all at the same time!

I did a random cheapie test yesterday afternoon and got a Bfn. I'd only gone for a wee about half an hour before though so dont know what I was expecting, and it was a 25 mui HCG test. My period is over a week late now and I am fed up!!

How is everyone else doing? @RainbowsSunshine have you tested again? Xx

This is my second month TTC and I am currently 2 days late - I too am never late! My period is like clockwork. I have some creamy CM too which reading up can be a sign of early pregnancy AS WELL as about to see AF! Dammit! Why are all the symptoms for early pregnancy the same as PMS.

I just want AF to come now as tests are negative. I'm using ovulation sticks but never had a positive which is worrying, thinking I am testing at the wrong time so bought a load and will test twice daily after few days into my cycle.

I did not want to become obsessive, but it's HARD!

Hi girls,

Just going to jump in with a similar situ, I’m on day 34, 5 days late, no sign of AF but I did a test this morning (basically because I’ve worked myself up about it so much the last 2 days that I’ve been waking up at 4am) and got a BFN.

Do people actually get BFP after a negative? I can’t handle another night of not sleeping.

Am on month 8 of trying after a miscarriage last year, month 17 of trying since the start :(

@Maise24 I think your OH has probably got the right idea! We’re just driving ourselves potty! It’s so hard to put it to the back of your mind though. I’ve just been into town and tried 3 shops and they’re all sold out of tests! The only one I found was in Waitrose. A 2 pack of Waitrose own. I don’t know how good they are but if I test tomorrow I’ll be 9 days late so hoping it’ll show on anything by now if I am.

Really hoping we can all be late bfp’s too! Fingers crossed!

@Daisydays1 Exactly. I feel like if I test in the morning I’ll be even more confused when it’s another bfn. I think tomorrow will be the last test I do as I think by then I’ll just have to accept that something has gone wrong with AF this month.

@Maise24bibhave been told the strength of the flow is nothing to worry about as long as you are ovulating, so try not to worry.
I know what you mean about the negative tests I last tested on day 29 but haven't done one since as hate the feeling when are the bfn 😬, so I don't want to test again 🤣 cd 33 today
I already have two and am ttc#3 but it's been so long since last ttc I have no idea what I am doing haha

@rainbowsSunshine it so hard when playing the waiting game and scared to test incase of bfn and then you are back in no man's land so to speak 🙄,

More longest cycle I have had in the last 12 months was cd36 so am going to try hold out until after then

I cant seem to tag you in this post for some reason rainbowssunshine! Ahhhh I completely feel your pain, it's so frustrating! My OH is quite convinced I'm preggo and cant seem to understand my impatience to know now! He thinks we should wait until the doctors next weekend.

I am SO tempted to buy another FRER but honestly the thought of another BFN from one of those super early tests is soul crushing.

Sorry if TMI but I just checked my cervix and its really soft! I dont know what's going on. My temperature dropped ever so slightly this morning (it had been 36.59 for the past few days and now 36.53 this morning) but then I took it again and it was 36.75! So god knows, might give up with temping as I cant bear every slight dip making me think AF is starting.

I've seen lots of stories on here about women getting their BFP after 10 days missed af... so there is hope! Sending you lots of baby dust! Xxx

@Maise24 It definitely sounds like you’ve got positive symptoms too! It’s so confusing isn’t it?! I’m exactly the same as you. I’m having moments of excitement where I think surely I must be... Then thinking, no, don’t think that. You’ll only be disappointed!

I haven’t tested since Tuesday morning either. So far I’ve done x2 boots cheap test strips, one on the day I was due and the again the following day. Then I tried a clear blue on Tuesday morning (5 days late).

I thought I’d test again on Sunday which would be 10 days late but I’m tempted to try and get my hands on a FRER today and use it tomorrow morning Are you tempted to test again? X

@RainbowsSunshine ooh that is a promising sign! I am exactly the same, on and off cramping, waves of feeling very sick, super sensitive to some smells (I smelt a mouldy lemon yesterday and I'm sure I can still smell it now ) but still.... BFN!! I havent done a FRER since Tuesday morning though. I honestly dont know what to think, I'm torn between getting my hopes up or just accepting that something has gone wrong this month!

Never thought I would be this late for a period. It really felt like AF was going to come last night but nothing now, no cramps either! What is going on!!

When do you think you will next test? Xx

@Maise24 We really are in the same boat! I keep getting waves of dizziness and generally feel off. I also keep getting period pain but nothing is happening 🙈 I’m 8 days late tomorrow.
The only symptom that I don’t usually have around AF is sore breasts. So that’s making me wonder a little bit... I just don’t have it in me to test again at the moment.

How are you feeling now?

@Daisydays1 gosh well def could be implantation bleeding if not something that happens to you usually?!

We have been TTC for 7 months now for our first. I had my copper coil removed at the end of may last year and since then my periods have been really light! The doctor said it's nothing to worry about but cant help thinking that something is wrong.

I cant bear to look at another negative test, going to leave it till after the weekend I think! My bank balance cant take anymore FRERs CD 38 tomorrow!!

Hi @maise24 I never normally spot before period it was like discharge mixed with drops of brown blood and even on the 4th day when I had a little bit of red just that day was very light and now clots then went back to discharge with brown spots if blood, sooth if to much info

I done a test on day 29 bfn now on day 33 I believe

25hcg is quite high to get a bfp from so don't give up as they are not very Sensitive tests, wow a whole week that is so stressfil

Have you tested yet? Do you often get brown spotting?? Could have been implantation...? Its torturous waiting isnt it! I just did a cheap boots strip test (BFN, again... feels like that's all I'm ever going to see!!) Although it only detects 25 HCG so if I have ovulated late it wouldnt pick it up

Although I do have bad back cramps now, AF could be on the way one whole week late

Hi ladies can I join
I am in he same boat had brown spotting a week before for 3 days then 4th day was brown with a little pink then 5th day brown

Nothing since and I am now 5 days late on a 28 day cycle
Been feeling dizzy and aches but wonder if I am imagining it 🤣

@Kendrick12 I absolutely feel your pain it is so hard!! I thought the TWW was bad. Maybe have a break from testing for a few days? If your more than 2 weeks late maybe book a doctors appointment and see if they can do a blood test?

I'm so sorry that you are all in this situation as well but it is really helpful to be able to talk about it with someone experiencing the same thing. I think my OH is worried I'm losing the plot!!

@RainbowsSunshine I think we may be in the same boat, I am also 6 days late. I think I will wait a few more days before testing as cant bear another BFN! I had awful back cramps last night which I thought was AF on the way however nothing this morning, my temp is still elevated. I've been getting sharp pains in my left side lower back today and the cramps have started again now.

What symptoms are you having lovely? Hoping you get your BFP very soon xx
