I'm pretty certain I ovulated on Friday, after 2 months of constant negative opks. So these next two weeks are going to drive me fully barmy! Anyone else out there in the TWW?

Thanks @Pineapplebaby & @Chaosonthehorizon, it's my day off work today and I'm feeling a lot better. I think what I really needed was a good nights sleep! I think it's just when I'm all busy at work and home I then let my mind wander a bit too much, the boobs though were very sore for real, this has passed now though so again could be everyday hormones along with tiredness. Doesn't mean I'm out for this month just yet, just means I can relax for a few more days Smile

I hope everything's going well at your end? I'm really grateful for you listening/reading, I thought I was going insane the other day and don't have lots of people to talk to x

Also really sorry for your losses. Honestly for me anyway I think the ‘symptoms’ are in my head. But I don’t test early so I suppose it is possible that I have had chemicals and not known.

Hey @MadisonC, firstly I just want to say how sorry I am for your losses xx
Secondly I feel your pain, the 2WW is the worst!
From what I’ve read, symptoms don’t generally kick in until your hormone levels go up (nausea is usually from 6 weeks pregnant for example), so it may be more of an anxiety/migraine thing however the achy boobs is usually one of the first symptoms for a lot of people so that’s a good sign. I had extremely mild cramping for a few days and then absolutely nothing.
It was only this week that I started to feel anything else (I’m 6 weeks today btw)
One thing I would say is wait until official test day; don’t test early or you’ll drive yourself crazy either second guessing whether you can see a second line or getting super depressed when you can’t. I read something that said only 10-20% of people get a positive before OTD so it’s definitely worth waiting. Keeping everything crossed for you. Xx

Hi all, not sure if this thread is still going but could do with an outlet so hoping you all can help! TTC for about a year now, in that time have had 2 mc's and had a few months over the summer of using condoms just to have a break from all the emotions. Month 2 of trying again now, average cycle length is 26 days and am (I think!) 8DO.

Question is, are my symptoms real or cause by anxiety of the tww?! Sat here at 5am with a bit of insomnia, although napped yesterday daytime following a migraine the night before. Feeling a bit queasy and sore boobs but questioning if that's in my head. I was a bit sick before the migraine on tues night, not sure if migraines are a symptom or just coincidence?

Ahhh, the stress! Testing day should be Weds next week but not sure I can wait that long. What do you all think about the early symptoms? Too early to have them and therefore anxiety/pms? Or hope?!

Thanks ever so much in advance x
(& praying none of you have a notification sound that wakes you)

@woodlandwitch oh gosh that is annoying, hopefully there will be some alternative options they can suggest, local anaesthetic one eye at a time?! 😉
With you on the hungry, my tummy has been rumbling constantly!
And I didn't think I was particularly tired, but my son was asleep in the car the other day so I was sat in the car on the drive & had a little snooze myself! X

@hopeful2020

The symptoms that made me think it could have been likely was -

Starving hungry (I had two lunches yesterday)
Exhausted
Irritable
Insomnia
Crazy dreams
Heartburn in mornings
Heart palpitations

Grin

The operation is to fix double vision. I can’t drive until I’ve had the operation so was really important to me but il talk to the consultant as my pre op was booked in for 2 weeks time and they may have options for me

@Woodlandwitch oh wow congratulations! Really pleased for you! Looking back now, did you have many symptoms? I feel like now I know, my symptoms were v obvious!
Don't want to pry but was the op for something urgent? Sure your Dr can advise whether it can wait or could be done later in pregnancy, guess it depends. These things happen & like you said, by the time you knew about the op it was already too late.
Congratulations on your news, sure things will all work out ok xx

Thanks ladies, I'd sort of hoped and suspected maybe, but it's always a bit of a surprise, my hands were shaking!
@Woodlandwitch hmm let's see, not a huge difference symptoms to usual stuff.
I noticed boobs were a bit tender from about 5dpo, it's been on & off, not really sore just sort of bruised feeling.
I felt quite gassy windy & burpy (nice!) from about 8dpo which made me wonder, as my oh used to say I burped loads in my last pregnancy!
I had vague period-coming type crampy feelings here & there.
A tiny streak of brown spotting when wiping on 11dpo, just once.
I usually get the odd spot in my chin before period, but all clear this time.
Headaches a bit more than usual too, but figured that was just from being busy at work.
The main thing was BBT, temp jumped right up at CD 25 & stayed up, it normally drops down the day or day before period comes. My cover line is 36.45, it's usually around 36.60 during luteal phase, but has been up in the 36.70s & 80s.
Ovulated day 14 - confirmed by BBT & ovulation test. DTD days 9, 11 & 14 - I was annoyed we'd missed day 13 & thought we'd missed it!

Hope that helps, hoping for some more BFPs for you girls xx

I looked back over my AF tracker and most AF comes at 34 but have had a few random ones that have come later so wondering if I should hold off a few days longer

Report
Hopeful2020 · 12/09/2019 20:00

@woodlandwitch Eek thanks! Trying to think positive but also prepare for a negative. I've not stopped since getting home from work & trying to keep myself busy!
Good plan, I always think hold on until at last the day you expect AF to come, easier said than done though 🤞🏻😂

When are you testing @hopeful2020?

I’m due on tomorrow but no spotting yet.

@teachermam I think it's all just luck and timing, and when we get a bit older we just need a bit more luck and a bit more time! One of these times it'll happen.
How old are you? I'm 35 & trying to think that although fertility may start to decline, it's gradual, not a jump off a cliff!
Keep going x

How old are you?

I’m 34 and already getting myself into a state so who knows
