Is this a positive ovulation test? Pic included

Hi everyone. I have had really weird cycles lately and I think I'm ovulating on cd20-32 so ovulation tests are a must for me. I seem to be getting a LOT of nearly positives and then they will go again but today is CD21 and I think it's a positive. I just wanted some other opinions... This is so confusing

Hi everyone,

Would you say this is a positive opk or am I just at my peak? I am on my second month ttc after being on the pill for 13+ years, and first month trying to track my ovulation! I am on day CD18 but very tired (I work in hospital and just spent my days off painting and pulling all the carpets up in my house!) anyway we are hoping to DTD tonight when I finish work. We last had sex on CD 16th. Would I miss it for this month really if we don’t, should we do it today and tomorrow really?

What’s the earliest day to do pregnancy test after ovulation ? What dpo?

So me and my partner have two girls together 4 and a half and nearly 2, we fell pregnant back in March this year but sadly had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, we’ve been trying to conceive since July but unfortunately nothing, I’ve used ovulation tests and all the time they come back negative!
Until today this one the other line is a lot darker than it usually shows up!!
Anyone got opinions on whether or not it’s true what I’m thinking?

Hey Lillybug. Not sure you still come on here but just to let you know that I got a bfp this morning! Scary and not planned and happened after just one cycle whilst not tracking. Tickets to America are seeming like a huge waste of money right now but it's still early! Anyway i hope all is well for you and baby!! Xx

Hi Lilybug! Sorry I have been so busy. Some bad family news and all of that stuff. Anyway I am good. I had 1 leftover ovulation test today and took it and it was positive (I had a feeling because I was getting the ovulation pain). We dtd yesterday and maybe today. I will see. Despite my actions getting pregnant now wouldn't be a good idea because I have purchased tickets to America for exactly in 9 months time. I think it's unlikely I will get pregnant but knowing my luck it would be this month when I wouldn't be able to fly. Haha. Anyway how are you doing? You in full sickness mode or is it getting better? Hi Princess :) a little bit of nausea every now and then but nothing yet. I think I am 5+2 today. I know I made it to about 6/7 weeks last time before I felt properly sick. I've booked in with the midwife for three weeks time, you just self refer here so it's a bit odd, it's like nothing is really happening. But I remember that from before as well, you wait for it for so long and then you just sort of hang around waiting to see the midwife, and then hang around waiting for the scan lol.
My husband is excited now :) that last test confirmed it for him, he was really tentative before that. I still feel quite apprehensive though, it's so early. I don't want to find out the sex but DH does so I'm not sure what will happen. I do usually get my own way...so hopefully we will have a nice surprise this time! Although male genes are incredibly strong in DH's family, so it's very likely a boy. I don't mind either way. A girl would be a lovely surprise but when I picture family life, it's boys.
Did your period come? How are you feeling? Hope busy family life is okay :) x

Yay!!! So glad the last test was a nice bfp. It's always so worrying until it becomes obvious. Sorry I have been so busy. Working 6 day weeks and with the kids back to school it's manic. Have you had any appointments yet? Is your husband all excited now??

I haven't come on my period yet, I did a test today and it was a bfn but I don't know if and when I ovulated so I will just take a weekly test from now on. I do want it to be positive and then I also don't want it to be positive all at the same time, but like I said, I'm leaving it down to just luck this month and then if I get my period I will be getting on birth control. However the sex has been pretty consistant so I guess there is as good a chance this month as any.

Did you say you are going to find out the sex this time? Are you feeling sick? Xxx

Yes you might be right! I've got a Superdrug test in the house which I'll do tomorrow. If that's still faint I'll try and get a digi tomorrow after work. Pleeeeeease let this be it...

No those tests just aren't super sensitive. You would need to test with a first response to see a good progression line, even then I think they say HCG doubles every 48hours so I wouldn't worry about it not being any darker yet. Eek! Your going to have to go out and get a digital for him! 😃😃

Oh I hope it is Princess. The line is not any clearer today, not at all darker so I'm a bit disappointed. It probably doesn't help that DH isn't convinced by a faint line at all. I really thought it would be darker this morning, I hope it doesn't mean it's a chemical. I so want it to be a positive.

Oh I bet seeing that positive test was awful. A pregnancy free America trip sounds brilliant, and a really nice thing to look forward to.

I cracked and told dh I was thinking of taking a test. I've attached it for you. Pretty sure I can see a line! It just doesn't seem real though because like you said you get so desensitised I just think it can't be real.

I also have DS's birthday party today and he has a cold so I don't really have much time to think about it!

Ya it is hard. I did take one ovulation test about 3 weeks ago because I felt some twinges and it was positive but then I realised I probably had some pregnancy hormones still left... So I took a pregnancy test and it was still positive :( since then I haven't taken anymore because I promised myself I wouldn't do it and I won't now. We have thrown caution to the wind this time because... Well I don't know to be honest but we have talked and if it's a not pregnant this month then we are going to give up for a year. We are going to America next year to see my family and i really don't want to be pregnant when I go because I really want to enjoy myself. To be able to have a glass of wine if I want one.

Yes I know what you mean... After so long you hope for a BFP but you don't actually expect it. You become a bit desensitised by the bfn's all the time. It does happen though! Fingers crossed. It's great that you are further than you thought, at least time isn't dragging... That's the worst! Xxx

You sound quite relaxed which is nice . Even if it's not this month at least if you get your period you'll be back to knowing what's going on with your cycle, it must be hard not really knowing where you are, even if you aren't ttc.

I'll see how I feel in the morning, I'd rather test alone I think so will wait for DH to go out. It won't be fmu but it doesn't matter...I wish I could be hopeful but I'm just really not! I think I'm just so far into trying now that it realistically happening doesn't even seem possible.

I'm actually really surprised that I'm 10 dpo. I checked my app thinking I was about 6 lol!

I'm officially 4 week post DnC but yet to still get my period... They said it can happen between 4-6 weeks but I have been dtd (not even on purpose) every day nearly or every other day. I took a test today and it's a bfn so I'm just waiting now to see what's happening. I guess I will find out within the next 13 days but I highly doubt I'm pregnant again, I just don't feel it this month. Plus with not tracking I don't know if I even have ovulated, or will. So not optimistic but I'm okay with it. Xx
