Hiya :)

Im 23 and we are currently ttc #2. Its all new for us as we weren't trying when we fell pregnant with out lg. We have bought a Clear Blue Advanced Fertility Monitor which should arrive on Tuesday which will be CD7.

Anyone else currently trying for baby number 2? want a buddy? feel free to comment on here on send me a message :) id love the extra support and would love to offer the same support to others x

Oh you poor thing. It's such a stressful time. To be honest, the break has done us then world of good. I have gone from being highly strung and obsessed with my womb to bubbly and normal again. I fully recommend a little break if you can! And if OH can take the wait!
No word on that yet. Appointment with consultant next Tuesday so just trying to focus on work and study and have started working out as I have a tilted uterus which can result in a thin endo and apparently excercise increases blood flow so am busy doing the Jordan workout every day too!

Thanx..have to wait six wks on ma results soo shit ma appointment is at the same time a would b testin almost to the day..ma partners bday in march aswell hes like u better b pregnant before i turn 31 or its gonna freak me out that am another yr older with no kid he always said he wanted a kid when he was 30 so his clock seems to b tickin aswell lmao..a know im thinkin if we do stop for the break ave got a couple of partys comin up and a hol from work so just go out have sum drinks chill out n not think bout it for a bit but its hard to switch off especially when my cousins pregnant at the minute

God I know that feeling- hate missing a month. It just feels like time is ticking away but sometimes it can be good for you mentally to have a lil break too. Hope your results re all ok xx

Gd luck with the treatment plan x let me know how yous get on..a dunno waitin on test results from hospital not even related to fertility uuugghhh so ma partner wants me to get the all clear before we try again i know its the best thing to do to b sensible andhealthy but i feel like with ma long cycles too miss one cycle is soo long a wait..just feel like theres always an obstacle in our way

Yep, it all does seem a bit unfair so we have had to beg, borrow steal and are now going to do ivf privately. Get our treatment plan today hopefully. Fingers crossed!!!

I know tww is the worst im 30..i would say follow your gut instinct if u think ivf is gonna work do it 6 iuis seems cruel but thats the nhs for u theyll fund someone to get a nose job or sum shit they dnt even need but wnt help women to have a baby when its all they want in life..maybe im just on a rant today cause i woke up to af this morning 5days early! Least i know now and my cycles went down from 42 to 37 hopefully keeps goin that way..yeah probably looks easy to ppl from the outside cause no one talks bout this kind of stuff do u tel friends family ur tryin? Do yous have any other kids?

I know. I had no idea it would be this kind of journey. Tww is literally agony! I'm 35. As I'm in a same sex relationship, you jump straight to IUI (unless you have a donor friend) but we wanted anonymity. Only having one attempt per month is hard when my best friend and her fella get to try all day. But then, they are struggling as well so it's not easy for anyone!! How old are you?
I think we will just keep going till we run out of options!!

Sounds soo stressful..my heart goes out to you x like i said im only four months and im stressed..why doesntanyone tell u how stressful it is its like you think you meet someone have a kid easy..spend all your time worrying ul get pregnant then when you want to you cant! How old are you do u mind me asking? How did you get to the stage of doing IUI did the doc refer you after trying with no luck?..i know sum folk say why should you pay but i honestly think you only have one life do it do whatever it takes if its what you wantx

Yup, me too. Am convincing myself I am in menopause and everything!
IUI (inter uterine insemination) I was just being lazy with my capitals! We are both female so there is no other way for us. Wondering if we should just get a loan and jump to IVF. To get IFV via the NHS we would need to do 6 IUIs and I'm not sure we can cope with many more!!

I hate when that happens its like either come full blown period or dnt i hate when its light n fills you with hope grrr stupid ovaries..sorry whats a lui? Been trying for 4months now which i get isnt that long but its just my really long cycles that make me worry my insides are fucked up lol

Oh I know the feeling. We have to go see the consultant again because it's the third Iui so a bit of a crossroads.
How long have you been trying nutty?
Had a weird short, brown af so still have nagging doubts (the power of denial aye!) but the test said negative.

Not due to test till the 11th soo sick of waitin..i know ive been feeling like that the past couple of wks keep ur chin up emnoo..think im having an early midlife crisis lmao keep thinkin im 30 with no kids times not on my side blah blah blah think im gonna go down the herbal route start taking evening primrose oil and stuff still looking into it heard it can shorten your cycle fx x..did yous have a gd time at new yearxx..keep me posted on your test emnoox

Its gone all quiet on here lol everyone have a nice xmas turns out my plans to conceive arent on hold now but my op mite b..me and my partner had a little whoopsy n am bak to the waiting game..what bout yous girls near testing time yet x

Oh no! i was like that, had to get my gallbladder out. I knew it was going to happen but i wasnt sure when it was happening as Aberdeen is a nightmare for waiting lists, but i got sent to Glasgow. Im all healed now and starting again last month. was lucky to only have just over a cycle off.
