Anyone waiting to TTC in Spring 2016?

I'm a lurker on the Conception and Baby Names threads as we've decided that we will be TTC next Spring :)

We get married in January and then once back from honeymoon end of Jan I'm coming off the pill to regulate my cycles... then hopefully TTC after a month or two depending on how quickly my body gets back to normal (fingers crossed!) Also to overcome before patter of little feet is getting an extension done to our house to give us a better kitchen (currently it's teeny and a nightmare), upstairs bathroom and baby's nursery!

I can't be the only person getting excited but waiting to TTC in the Spring? Hoping to find some others to chat with, as I'm currently driving DMum and DP a bit mad with my baby chat...!

roguish it more than likely will. I need to hold out til march although it won't be the end of the world if it happens before Wink.

guest it will also be #3 for us and after a lot of tooing and froing one day it hit me and never went away! All systems go now as I've just come off the pill (with the aim to be careful until at least Feb) how did you come about the third?

mini I've not had any recent pregnancy announcements amongst my friendship group and all previous ones were when making babies was the last thing on my mind so I haven't experienced this. Just think very soon you'll be announcing your own pregnancy Smile

Hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me saying hello but we are also going to start TTC in march. It seems like forever away but there are silly valid reasons for waiting. I'm already a little bit obsessed. Glad I've found a WTT thread!

Hi, everyone. I'm new here, just registered today. I will be ttc sometime next year, probably taking my IUS out at the end of next summer. I am nervous about it, though, because I just started a new job in early October. Unfortunately we don't want to wait too much longer as we have already been delayed by about 2 years in ttc. I'm just hoping my manager understands.

Good to hear that there's like minded broody people out there Grin

OP are you still around?

I've started taking boots folic acid with vit d and have been off the pill for a few years as it was giving me headaches. I think it took me around 3 months for my cycles to settle and I'd been on the pill for 12 years

Hello all, could I join you please?!
We're going to be TTC #3 in February (we're going on a Valentines break to Prague so starting there!) There will be a 10 year age gap between this one and my other DCs so feels like starting over again. It's so exciting. I'd really love to have others to chat to about it as I'm driving DH bonkers with baby talk!

Ah exciting NewGirl2015 Grin
I had the implant for about 6 years until last summer when I had it taken out due to continuous spotting that was driving me mad. So we've just been using condoms ever since until we decided the time was right.
I'm going to start taking folic acid next month and I've downloaded Ovia to try and start tracking and making sense of my cycles Confused
The only thing keeping us from ttc sooner is a snowboarding holiday in March that we've had booked for a year! I'm soooo broody it's driving me a bit loopy! Blush

Hi miniweaver and BubbaNo1
We are in similar boats it sounds like and all newbies to the thread!
Great news you have a timeline miniweaver! Are you taking the pill or anything at the mo?
BubbaNo1 I was nervous too but thankfully I've been ok since coming off it 3 months ago after over 10 years. What were your cycles like before?
I've been symptom tracking and using and app to track, I got a high reading on a digital OPK today a week earlier than expected...we DTD on Friday so v slim chance I could fall a month earlier than planned Confused...!!

Hi ladies... I have just come off the pill on Tuesday, hoping to TTC straight away. I'm a bit worried about the pill withdrawal symptoms. I've also started taking SevenSeas- Trying for a baby. The OH is very excited and supportive and eager to get baby making... Anyone else trying this month??

Blimey it's November already! Where does the time go?! Welcome zaza and persepolis hopefully things will start picking up for this thread as the winter sets in!

Had a manic, busy week including having our architectural survey done which is one (small) step closer to getting our extension which means room for baby! Very excited. Perhaps too excited... haha!

I've also ordered some B complex vits from Amazon to start taking, including folic acid as I've heard you're supposed to start taking it 3 months before TTC to give it a chance to get into your system? Any truth in that?

How is everyone?

We will be ttc probably march time. Already have DS who is nearly 3 and DD is 7 months. I would love another when she's about 2. Not married here either but finally going to book it soon for 2017. Will be on a beach abroad and hopefully will have 3 children by then!

Good news Marzi and zaza! We are still going back and forth between will-we-won't-we, on the one hand it makes sense to me to power through the baby years and not go back to work between babies, then have a career afterwards. But having 2 close in age must be challenging! But I think it will be challenging whenever. And it will be nice to have a small gap I think, my dad and his sister are 14 months apart and super close! But I really want to grow my business! But no point doing so and then having another break to have another baby I guess. Agh!

Sorry, totally thinking aloud!

Same here marzi ... Can't afford it, blah blah! Haha. I know why he worries, but most of us all have these worries and they just get on with it. I'm 32 so feel like the clock is ticking now and my doctor doesn't help, going on about it every time I'm there. When I told her I was off my pill I thought she was going to jump over her desk and hug me haha.

A christmas baby would be lovely.
