congratulations brixton :) that's lovely :)

I am 28, ttc no1, cycle 2, and i was really upset this month because i didn't think we dtd enough to give ourselves a chance because husband was away on a stag do - day 1, 6, 11, 12, 15... had a huge glob of ewcm all day on day 10 and i got it in my head we'd missed the chance, but it went on until day 13/14. Last month we did every other day all month and nothing happened - i think we were just lucky with the timing this time round and I had loads more ewcm this month but I don't know the reason.

from cd18 I have been very sleepy and boobs feel bigger but don't hurt. From day before af due have had strong metal taste in mouth, absolutely disgusting, and felt sick all day from waking up onwards.

Honestly we had all but given up. And Ds2... well he was being born whether we were ready for him or not! Even as a baby the older ones used to say he was a fighter.

Dance that's an amazing thing to share thankyou so much for doing so. It really did make me think. I've posted in the August bus accidentally.

It's been a long road this motherhood thing! Grin Lol I'm not done with it yet! I never thought at the start it would be like this though Wink I know I sometimes wish I could grab a hold of my younger self and say, actually it's going to be alright! So maybe my future self could do the same to me now!! Wink

Congrats brixton
Such an exciting time for you. We got married this year and had a humanist wedding. It was good writing it but also quite hard writing about yourself.

Aawww mrse this ttc business is a bugger! I'm sure dh is understands, give dss a cuddle. Try to enjoy the rest of the holiday. Treat yourself to lovely things. When you get back home you'll be ready to kick ass again. Sending you a virtual hug and if you're not the huggy type have a back rub. Love to you xx

MrsExtraOrdinary please don't give up. 're-assess, but don't give up.

Let me tell you about my Rocky road with getting a family...

I had a miscarriage aged 17 @ 14 weeks. I was devastated, hit the rocks literally and started trying again. Next pregnancy, at 18, I had my beautiful DD1. When she was eight months old I fell pregnant again and lost at seven weeks. Over the next 3 years I had a further nine miscarriages, at between five and twelve weeks. Even my midwife said she had never met anyone so determined! Gp advised having a rest, giving up work and letting my body 're-adjust. Six months later, on Christmas eve, I got a bfp. I had an horrendous pregnancy! Discovered it was twins as I lost one. Clung onto second twin but the little blighter kept threatening to be premature so spent a full week in a hospital many miles from him (and my beautiful Dd) because that was the only hospital with a bed for Ds should he deign to arrive! Eventually he was born, fit and healthy, at 40wks!

3 months later I discovered I was pregnant again whilst taking the pill. Couldn't believe it. Fully expected to lose the pregnancy but no, Ds2 was quite possibly the easiest pregnancy I have ever had!

When he was coming up to a year old we lost my dad, and dh and I decided to dull the grief with another baby. I had the implant removed and one month later had a bfp! Dd2 was born at 37 weeks and had been our precious princess ever since. Now she has just turned 5 and again, making the decision to have another baby and having mirena coil removed on July 1st has resulted in bfp last week!

My sister believes I am the most fertile woman in the UK! Before I had Ds1 I had literally given up. I had been to adoption meetings and fertility clinics and nearly driven myself insane. I would never have believed that within a few short years I would have such a big family!

Cpt I've been a bit of a bitch to everyone today. Well I say everyone, dss got some of the brunt as he turned the utility room (2 hours of folded washing) upside down. Think dh would like a divorce. Sad

Thanks everyone! We're going to have a humanist ceremony, I've been reading up on them this morning and love the idea of designing the whole ceremony. I'm very happy Smile

MrsE so sorry for your BFN, thought this was going to be your BFP. If still no af tomorrow can you try a superdrug test? They are the most sensitive. It's not over yet! Xx

nordic I'm so sorry you are going through this again. I know you've had investigations in the past, am I right in thinking previous treatment have left you with health problems? Maybe it's worth speaking to gp about this. There might be something really simple that could help you get past this point, injections or suppositories. Sorry I don't mean to sound patronising or flippant. I don't know a thing about fertility treatments and obviously you know your body better than anyone but from reading your posts I can't help but feel you need some extra support. Please be kind to yourself, remind yourself of the good things you have and hold them tight. It's not long now until you go ti Finland to see your family. Love & light to you.

Congratulations Brixton! Lovely news Smile

So frer says no! Which puts me firmly back in my least favourite place "limbo"! Should have guessed after bad cramps last night. But af still to materialise. She's probably waiting for Saturday when I'm at home and can collapse.

Can't help wondering whether my body's for the scrap heap though. This would be officially my 9 th pg I'm trying for not counting the early misses, but including the ones lost at 9,7 & 6 wks. So maybe my wombs had enough. I think my womb should have a firm talk to my broodiness! Maybe I'm asking for too much. I already have a wonderful family even though it didn't come the traditional way.

Oh my goodness, ladies... I can't tell anyone in real life yet as we're going to call everyone tonight, but... My DP is going to become my DH! I'm delighted! We had been mentioning it on and off over the last few months, then when I got my BFP DP's first words (after hugging me tightly) were "let's get engaged!". I told him to think about it for a few days to make sure it wasn't the emotion talking, but he's sure he wants to do it. So BrixtonBunny and Mr BB are getting hitched! Not sure when,as it will depend on whether my bean sticks, but I'm so happy. I love the idea of getting married with baby BB with us. Grin Xxx

Well bfn for me on cb so time to wait till blood results come back. Dh was asking me yest how far along I would be if it came back positive..... Think my answer at how they date things confusing bless him. I'd be 6 weeks! So he said at least it wouldn't be long till the scan and then we could tell ppl. Me thinks someone's actually being hopeful for once!
