Sorry, forgot to add: I brought a Christmas planner last year and it was a Godsend. Had everything I brought for Christmas in there so I could tick off presents as I found them and hunt for the ones I'd forgotten.

Some hidden in plain sight in the cupboard in the hallway, though little fingers are starting to pry. Some in my bedroom wardrobe and some under my bed.

White rattan storage baskets on shelving in utility room. Look v neutral and innocuous! Plus it is mostly my domain.

Not so much to conceal from DH (DC have left home) as for me to remember where they are and keep them together in one place to avoiding losing/forgetting!

In previous years I've tried:
In my sisters flat which worked fine until she went out drinking on Christmas Eve without letting me know or charging her phone. Cue major drama and a tense and tired Christmas

In boot of my car which was fine until DS decided to investigate the back seat and showed mummmy, who had no clue about this, that there was a hatch through to the boot. Cue stern raised voice and prayers of thanksgiving that I'd used black sacks

Under the bed in the spare room/ junk pit/ black hole with the door locked which was fine except for the stress of wondering if they would wake up while the stash was retrieved and brought downstairs. Should have put Valium on the shopping list that year.

This year it was the attic which is due a major declutter and the bags of gifts were camouflaged nicely among the bags of redundant baby paraphernalia. Kids were dispatched to grans while I transferred gifts to car boot on Christmas Eve and it would have worked fine if I hadn't been too Lazy to haul some up to attic and too dozy to remember that I'd been lazy. Cue puzzled mummy on Christmas morning wondering where some of the presents were.

Next year I'll get it right....really

DD doesn't get realise that the door next to our front door (we're in a flat) is actually a big walk in cupboard. About big enough for a single bed, so plenty of room. Most are in there but some are in plain sight. She's 2 so this is the last year I'll get away with that Grin

The loft as i need a lot of space.

Odd tiny thing in wardrobe but that's full of clothes so no way would I get Xmas presents in there as well like others do.

Some are in a cupboard in the hallway, it's really stiff to open do no chance the kids can get in, some under our bed, some in a couple of cardboard boxes in our room & dom in a cardboard box in the lounge. Luckily it would never occur to my kids to go looking as some are hidden in such plain sight.

I hide mine in plain sight. We always have various empty boxes lying around our room from online shopping deliveries, so I just put presents in them. I don't know if the dc snoop but I doubt they'd bother to look in empty looking boxes sitting in the middle of our bedroom floor.

Nowadays in the wardrobe or behind the easy chair in the bedroom with a blanket thrown over them and a veto against anyone trying to peek.

We have an industrial photocopier for work in our study and once hid a new pet goldfish in the paper storage compartment at the bottom for a few nights until Xmas day. He was allowed out during the day when the kids were at school and we never operated the photocopier when he was in there Grin

In the spare room under a big sheet. To be fair though, DD(4) believes in Santa and it wouldn't even occur to her that there might be presents under there.

Will have to be a bit more creative as she gets older.

Inside the base of the divan bed - pull a drawer out and stuff presents in (apart from the huge box of lego ninjago which is bagged up in under stair cupboard). I don't think the kids realise the drawers can come out fully, I have been careful to avoid alerting them to this fact in order to preserve my hiding place!

Another ottoman bed here! Before that I hid them at my brother's house. In our old house they went in the loft.

OvO Why does your linen cupboard need to be locked? Can your cat open door handles? Grin

We have a built in wardrobe in our room (which someone at some point converted into a shower (why??) we never use it as a shower so we store presents in there. Some are in my wardrobe too and my presents from dp have been carefully hidden under a blanket in the corner of our bedroom (I haven't looked he told me they were there).

If we didn't have the wardrobe-come shower I'd probably hide them at the bottom of my wardrobe and under the bed.

I have a huge walk in cupboard right next to where I put the tree, very convenient.

I've had the flu for two weeks and haven't bought any yet.

I also use holiday suitcases! They live in my wardrobe all year long but get locked when full of gifts!

All in my wardrobe - apart from the scooter which arrived today & is currently wedged between 2 vacuum bags of old baby clothes with a duvet over it while I find somewhere to hide it. Will wrap tomorrow night though
