Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

Is the pirate ship suitable for a nearly 3 year old do you think? Is it made of lots of teeny parts till click in?

I'd love to buy him a toy pirate ship but can't find a suitable one that will sustain bashing.

glo try elc wooden pirate ship, was reduced to 20 last October/November so should be again (plus birthday code) and is solid and perfect for a little bashing. I put it away for this year, lo will be 3.5 but we have a playmobil pirate ship I had to put away as all the bits and sails come off so imo it's more hassle than it's worth suited to older ones Grin

I am, however, teaming it with the playmobil pirate sets!

I previously linked some stickers from an ebay seller, I just found the same stickers on aliexpress for cheaper, I'm not sure if they are the cheapest, but a better deal then the previously linked ones.

Here is the link.

Can anybody recommend a good art set for a 10 year old? Thanks

The Works has some really nice art sets. TKMaxx usually have decent art supplies in store too. I used to always buy my DN more professional sets rather than children's ones and she loved them.

I found some good reductions in our big Tesco.

20 pots of unbranded smelly play do for £5. Big long pack, looks impressive.

They also had super soakers reduced from £20 to £5. Not sure how popular they would be Grin

I bought DD a sort of sensory magic wand for her stocking last year and it's been a hit (sometimes literally...) as well as a bargain. DS is getting one this year too. It's really good quality.

Spiral Glitter Wand ??3.99 with free shipping.

DD had matey bubble bath in her stocking when she was 1 & 2. Just after she turned 3, I was in ASDA with her, saw some on offer so picked it up & put it in the trolley & she said "is that for my stocking?". Frantic explaining & backtracking by me!

Zeusette, sorry I missed your post earlier. Any of the Reeves sets are usually good or I really like the Daler-Rowney sets in TKMaxx
