Newborn poohs- is this right?!?!?!

12 days old, bless her, and poohing for England. It's just that they seem so watery. They are a good colour- yellow- and smell lovely, but are the consistency of water, pretty much. I can't remember what DS's poohs were like at this age... is this normal? Pardon my ignorance!

Sounds a bit watery to me.

Newborn breastfed poo (no H btw, Pooh is a bear) is yellow and loose but not watery. Have they always been like this? Have you eaten anything diarrhoea-inducing?

I'd check, I think.

and also, be warned - they can come out under some serious pressure. dh and I still traumatised by yellow laser from 5-week old ds's butt. Shot 1m across the room and hit the wall!

Yep normal!

Annoying though!

Congratulations. Is she breastfed? "Normal" breastmilk poos are usually quite loose, ime. Consistency of single cream, I'd say. Can you check with your midwife or health visitor if you're concerned?
