Tips to get two year old to take/accept/use asthma inhaler?

Not sure the correct terminology tbh. DS is 2.3, have been prescribed an inhaler/spacer/mask for his persistent cough - not how do I get him to use it? Just showed it to him and he was quite interested but resisted letting it anywhere near his face...

Yes we do the practising on teddies too and also counting games. Show him it's OK and put it on your face too.

Agree play with spacer...we also do counting games. DS 2.6 barely registers when we do it now

I would let him play with the spacer. Practise giving teddies/toys/you inhaler (pretend obviously)
