Any way to find out if a book is going to be reprinted? (the book is Tim and Tobias if anyone has any great ideas)

Ds is starting to read, and I think he'd love these. It is exactly his sort of thing.

BUT BUT BUT apparently they are out of print and there are no plans to reprint.

I was wondering if it is possible to contact say the publisher and find out? Would a publisher respond to a question like this? Would I speak to a minion with no idea anyway?

Thoughts please. There was a reprint but they are all sold out (have tried various websites-a few are showing as in stock but then I get an email saying...sorry)

IIRC they are Harry Potter in reading book form. But they are on abe for £60

These are on PDF on eBay now I just bought them last week and they're just how I remember them. I'd be quick though I doubt they'll be around forever.

what kind of price would you be willing to pay for the collection that I have? I did put them on eBay last month, but a hoax bidder bid on them (I presume to allow another seller the sole rights to their own listing?) I am in a tug of war with eBay at the moment as they billed me £80 which was the final value fee for them, and then credited it to my selling account, but I rarely sell on eBay :( Depending on where you live, I could possibly arrange to meet you with them and to collect payment?

I've got one. Magic in the wind. In as new condition. Bought it a few years ago brand new and never read it. Its paperback. Is it likely to be worth something?

Hi all you fellow Tim & Tobias Lovers!

Firstly, I am looking for the publisher who owns the rights to these books in 2014. I've contacted a lot of publishers and used the online ISBN search, to no avail. If anyone can help I'd love to hear from you.

Secondly, as for buying the books, I recently bought the whole of Series A, B and C from the Sheffield Oxfam, via ABE Books. They cost £300 per series and they have no stamps, no damage, they're immaculate. Yes, I know, it was a lot of money but for me, what price can I put on my childhood?! The Charity shops are very aware of what price these books now fetch.

Thirdly, Mrs Woolf & the Moonfruit website. Is this website coming soon and do you have a Tim & Tobias website presence, if so, I'd love to know.

BTW: the other Net site listed in this thread doesn't exist anymore

Lastly, these books need to be out there and republished. The amount of interest out there is phenomenal, the publishers are missing a trick!

Just in case anyone is still looking for information on the tim and the Hidden People books I've started a website at timandthehiddenpeople.net . It's got as much information as I could find on the books all collected in one space. I have a few of the pages of some of the books available to view as well. If anyone can help me out filling in the blanks that would be great!

Hi All

I have done an audit of the books I have. If any of you are interested in buying.

I got them from a school that was closing down so they do have school stamps and a sticker on the spine but they are in good or very good condition

Series A - C are all either 2nd or 3rd impressions and are dated between 1976 and 1979. So am looking for £25 each.
Series D are all 1st editions and are dated 1980 so am looking for £40 each.

If I find any of the MISSING ones, I will let you all know.

A2 All the fun of the Fair
A3 Tim Meets Capt Jory
A4 Riding in to danger - MISSING

Hi all,

I was just wondering that if anyone has the full set of the Tim and the Hidden People Collection whether they would consider making PDF books from the originals; as I personally have struggled very hard to be able to find the vast majority of them all.

(I lost them in a recent house move) and now am having to trawl the internet to try to find them, on eBay thay are selling for what can only be called rediculous prices.

I'm sure it would help many people out there if these books were available as PDF's.
