Thursday --------- Staff room (very wet day)

Morning ML. Its not too bad here, bit overcast, but sun due out by lunchtime aparently. I was up and about early today, ready for mindee arrival and his mum phoned at 7.30 to say that they'd had a late night, so she would take him to school. Fine by me, I've been paid! So, do I take advantage of the fact I have an hour and half before I've got to do anything? I've got time to do a monthly shop tbh! Nah! Lets relax! Have a nice day!

Expecting a quiet summer

Hi everyone,
Its going to be dry here according to my special weather clock. I've planned the summer holidays so i feel much calmer now, I should have 3-5 children everyday but will be finished by 3pm (i think) unless i get a full timer before then! I'm quite looking forward to it, we're having a week away which will do me the world of good!

Not much planned for today, got playgroup this morning so just a normal day really

Well, I am hurt - no one even MISSED me yesterday! Oh well, good thing I am a tough old bird.

I was out all day yesterday between groups, kids coming and going and then park and then bed. I was shattered!

DD decided to have a horrid night sleep last night, so am shattered again today, and I think a little more short than I would like to be. And it's a 6pm finish today, and DH is at MIL in londontown to fix her computer so allllll alone. sigh - woe is me!

Anyway, enough whinging, back to being happy!

I missed you crace! I was very busy yesterday though, so I didn't hang about much. Off shopping for the party food in a minute and then back to decorate the cake, so I'll catch up with you for coffee later! Oh and its raining again! That horrid drizzly stuff, where you don't realise how wet your getting!

Just had a friend phone, her husband looks like he was playing away from home. She's devestated, and my heart is breaking for her. I am hoping for the best, but it's not looking good. How awful

(The staff room door flies open and bangs against the wall!)

Thats not good crace. Hope she's OK. Bit of a daft thing to say really, she's obviously not going to be ok is she? All you can do is listen I guess.
I'm a bit busy too. Just done all the food shopping for the party. Its all coming together now. Except Iforgot the icing for the cake, so I've got to go out again!

My morning is not going so well.....
jess leaked on my lap and mindee has leaked as well with no spare clothes, how long do boys jeans take to dry on the line?
i have no clothes either so am sat her bursting out of the only skirt (size 14 - im more like 16!!!) i could find quickly! I need to buy more clothes but until i get more mindees keeping a roof over our heads is more important, will have to wash my jeans and hope they dry in time for school run!

Not good at all, bless her.

Arrrhhh I've had a long day which still has a long time to go

Talked to the park this morning with 2 other childminders a good 30 minutes to get to a good one! Played all morning then came home, had lunch ect. and baby went down for 20 mins and hasn't stopped crying, so better pop off againg as she's started again .

I know she's being really rough at sleeping for mum but until today I've have no problems, which means I'll have mardy older children as they don't like it when baby crying lol

Hi, I'm here for a mo. Not read it all and feel so out of touch after being away for 2 weeks! Anyway, after a horrible horrible morning/afternoon (ds had bad fall at school and we had to take him to A&E as was in a right state with being floppy etc), he's now ok and I'm well chuffed as my double pay baby's mum insists on paying £70 a night for overnight care when I said less was fine Got baby next Thursday and spent too much on holiday so could do with the extra dosh!!

So, how is everyone? What have I missed?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pleased that LMG's is back online!!!! (although she's not online tonight for a change! )

Anyway, a cold can of Stella is calling me from the fridge...............

Very busy week, after what was supposed to be a quiet one. Just a bunch of part timers though, and ad hoc stuff so although it's nice, it's manic too

crace - sorry, just seen your message when went to my messages. Holiday was FAB thanks, much needed and didn't want to come back. Should have taken an extra day off work because I had no idea how late we'd be getting back and going to sleep but never mind, it's the weekend now. Yes, got a nice tan thanks but got a feeling it will fade soon as our summer is crap here!! It's been a pretty mental short week here with trying to get back into a routine, ds giving us the fright of our lives, 4 kids under 5 going mad as they haven't seen each other for couple of weeks. Now got the job of catching up with a HUGE amount of washing, doing lots and lots of paperwork, accounts etc - back to reality!!! Want to do as much as possible ASAP as we're going to be TTC next month and first few months with ds was horrible.

Oh, oh............i see sun.........need to put more washing out quick!!!
