Hi, my daughter as been self harming at school and home, CAHMS have done assessments and then discharge her. She came home from school today and told me she just feels sad most of the time. Do you think if I take her to doctors they will put her on antidepressants or is she too young she's 15 in 2 months.

@jeffersonsam

It is better to take your daughter to a good counsellor. It may be helps to reduce your daughter mental stress and also improving in her academic performance.

She sees a counsellor in school.

I was also 14 and exactly like your daughter. Definitely go to the GP. Get all the help you can for her.
