Ideas on voluntary work in Public Health/Women's Health

Hoping someone knows of somewhere I can volunteer for a few hours a week with work in these areas. I've got a Public Health degree but not had any experience in the field and would like to use my knowledge and skills in a helpful way. I am in the East Kent area and happy to drive or work from home.

You could try contacting Red Zebra which is the local infrastructure organisation for the vcse - they vary from place to place - some act as the one stop shop for all volunteering opportunities but at the vary least they should be connected into host of vcse organisations. They also deliver a social prescribing service which may be of interest to you with your background

That's amazing, thank you. I'll have a look now.

Do you keep an eye on NIHR vacancies for committees? They're always looking for a range of specialist input like Public Health and there are ongoing expert panel initiatives for Women's Health (if none current, there should be in 2024).

Thank you @RethinkingLife - that actually sounds perfect and I will certainly keep my eye on the site for the Women's Health side. We wrote Charity Bids for one of the topics which I did well at, so I am considering that route too.
