Anyone else doing the swim 5K for SANDS in September? I signed up for it the other day. I'm hoping to push it to 10k although apart from a couple of days swimming in the sea in Majorca last year. I haven't actually swam properly for a fair few years so it'll be a challenge, but one I'm looking forward to doing. I'm swimming in memory of my Babies and all the other beautiful babies who were taken far too soon.

I really want to push myself and do this in my memory of my babies but the pool opening times near me just don't fit. Hoping that maybe next year I might manage it. Do they have like support/chat groups for people doing it? I think I would struggle to maintain the motivation.

@Oblahdeeoblahdoe I signed up via Facebook and the SANDS group but I think you can also sign up via the SANDS website as well. I did a couple of their other fundraisers a couple of years ago as well. I'd love to do the RIBBON run in October too but sadly running is not my strong point and I'd be lucky if I could make it to the end of the road
