Calorie counting or WLS

Currently have mega huge amount of weight to loose ,approved for WLS some time next year ..
I really want to avoid this route if possible
so wondering if anyone on here has successfully cc their way to a normal ish weight .
id happily accept a size 18 at this point ,currently a size 28 /30.
just be
glad to chat with others in same situation really

I know this is an old post but didn’t get any response And don’t know if you’ve moved forward etc

do it - it’s the best thing I have ever done. I started out at 27st 8lbs and I’m now nowhere even close to that (currently pregnant so not weighing in properly but have lost weight during pregnancy).
join the friendliest gastric sleeve/bypass group uk on Facebook - there are few people that regret doing it and it hasn’t stopped my life in anyway I still go out to eat just always end up with a take away box and having more later on.
I went to Turkey had surgery on a Monday and was back in my own bed Thursday evening. If you want any info I’m here x
