One weetabix with a handful of the aldi granolay stuff and whole milk.
3 small bites of half a piece of brown toast, licked all the butter off though.
1 ikea child's cup of homemade smoothie (banana, small handful of frozen "summer fruits", spoon of greek yoghurt, milk)
Half a rich tea biscuit
Tuna pasta (about a dozen tubes) and half an avacado
Half a small scone with jam + jam licked from the other uneaten half
Mini box of raisins
Satsuma
Small apple with just the core take out
Beef mince pasta bake (poor meal plannning double pasta I know!) he ate some of the pasta (8ish bits), a small amount of the mince (2 teaspoons maybe) 2 or 3 pieces of carrot.
A slice of garlic bread.
He's 2yrs 4months. Very very active. Seems like a lot of food now I write it all down.
Anyone care to share what their DC ate today? I'm not trying to start a competitive wholemeal Quinoa and organic kale list just interested in volume. I saw one of those portion size posters in the sure start and it made me worry. The portions were tiny.

Dd is 2.5.

Breakfast was a satsuma, some grapes, yoghurt and two croissants (this is unusual as she usually doesn't eat much!)

About 4 mouthfuls of spaghetti bolognese for dinner Hmm

Peanut butter sandwich (currently sat uneaten), cherry tomatoes (also uneaten) and Pom bear crisps for tea.

Also some yogurt covered strawberry flake things as a snack.

DD 2years 9months (to be very precise Grin)

Breakfast
Refused cereal (very unusual for her) and asked for just:
-2 yogurts
-banana

Snack-Oaty bar

Dinner : -cheese and tomato pasta and 1 slice of garlic bread
-1 Apple
-Cucumber, tomatoes

We've just got home and she's had a packet of crisps. No idea what we'll be having for tea but she never stops eating! The struggle for me sometimes is to stop her snacking and get her to eat a full meal.

2.3 year old
Breakfast was Greek yogurt with honey (one of them liberte ones, he ate full pot) about 5-6 strawberries and a bite or 2 of toast
Snack, a few raisins and a few cubes of cheese
Lunch was tuna and sweetcorn whole meal pitta bread with cherry tomatoes, pepper sticks and a lot of chorizo, he loves the stuff.
Tea he just ate a few strips of steak, 3 or 4 bits of brocolli, a lot of carrots and some new potatoes. He doesn't eat a lot tbh, he has today but generally has a few bites of whatever's offered. He's also had an ice lolly and a crispy roll of course he ate all of those.

18 month old.

Breakfast - mini bagel with butter, 1 weetabix with milk and milk to drink.
Actually ate - 3-4 bites bagel (less than a quarter), 1 spoon of weetabix, 2 beakers of milk.

Lunch - 1 slice wholemeal bread with marmite, small handful cheesy biscuit shapes, cucumber sticks, apple slices. Water to drink.
Ate - All of the cheesy biscuits, 2 bites marmite bread, 1 apple slice.

Dinner - Pork steak, mash, broccoli, carrots, green beans and apple sauce with gravy. Banana.
Ate - The banana. Licked a carrot and took a bite of green bean but spat it out.

This is quite a typical day. Sometimes he'll eat a good amount for breakfast but not often these days.
Funnily enough though, offer him anything sweet and it will disappear quicker than you can blink Hmm
Bloody child, don't know how on earth he keeps going.

Racheyg It's basically just sweet potato, onion, celery, carrot, red lentils, stock and/or tinned tomatoes. Fry onions and celery, add everything else in, bring to the boil and simmer until all the veg is cooked. I usually stir in a bit of grated cheese after its cooked as well. It started off as this (www.annabelkarmel.com/recipes/lovely-lentils) Annabel Karmel recipe when I was weaning DD and evolved from there. We all eat it now Smile

Lunch - a couple of bites of toast, a spinach leaf, bit odd leftover roast beef, Apple juice

I can help to make other people feel better too. I posted today's "good" eating above (tiny quantities, but fairly healthy). But I got to the end of yesterday and realised that what she had actually eaten in a day (although she'd been presented with, and duly ignored, healthier options) was:

A small piece of toast
A lot of her brother's packet of crisps
The sprinkles, icing and smarties from an M&S gingerbread man
About 1/4 of a scone with butter and jam
2 or 3 tiny (£1 coin size) bits of pizza
An enormous piece of cake and ice cream.

Her first word was "Cakey".Blush

11 months old but he's definitely a 'toddler'!:

Toast w/butter & marmalade
Homemade fish goujons
Cucumber sticks
Carrot cake organix bar thingy
3-4 bites of my McDonalds double cheeseburger Blush
Slice of vegetable pizza @ friend's house
6-7 melty hoops
1 biscotti
Homemade pasta sauce (with beef mince, carrot, courgette, onion, peppers, tomato, etc.)

Today was a rushing about, hectic, over-subscribed day, so it's a miracle he was fed at all! Grin
