We know children called: Kelsey, Taylor x2, Devan, Finlay, Riley.

No to the lot!

(btw they are girl, boy and girl, girl, boy, boy in case you were wondering )

Lol, ds came home from his first day at secondary school and announced that he was friends with Riley and Taylor.

Dh thought the boys were being referred to by their surnames!

Hmm, up there with Bailey and Chelsea really.

Not.
No surname is nice as a first name.

Definitely not.

Quite common - in all senses of the word!

Love it.

Not. Cheap and trendy. Although I might be influenced by a woman I know who named her son Rylee.

Not.

I know two dogs named Riley (retriever and Irish setter), and one unfortunate little girl.

I wasn't too sure when my friend told me they'd called their DS 'Riley', but I like it now - it might help that he's a real cutie

I think its lovely.

NOT. Not a fan of surnames for first names. Sounds, dare I say it, a bit common.

I wouldn't choose it myself, but upon seeing the name, I did immediately think boy's name.

(I was also a Buffy fan where there was a character called Riley Finn)

Don't like it. Sounds like the kind of makey up, pseudo Irish name that people in Hollywood give their kids.

Not nice I'm afraid, at least not to my taste!
