Baby names

A sister for Ellie and Tabby

I already have Ellie (Eleanor) and Tabby (Tabetha) and am going to have another girl in just over 6 weeks time.

I'd like to have a similar sort of name again (ie long that can be shortened in a couple of different ways) but can't think of any that I like, any good ideas?

I think we're going to have to be very careful with the middle name and I think I'll try to find one with a consonant rather than a vowel just in case of any inventive pronunciations of initials!

Moos, Along those lines. Don't call her Felicity Ursula(any other U name) or she'll be FUC. [Hwink]

I'm a Charlotte and was called Charli and Lotti at school. And my maiden name was a C so I was CC for 23 years. I'd give the name a good thumbs up!
And add that your daughters have lovely names!

Ha! Was just thinking of middle names that would go with Felicity and pondered Eve, then realised that her initials would then be FEC - maybe not such a good idea!

A lot of these names are really nice but I can't use them for various reasons (know too many called it already/names of friends and don't want to give them a big head!/just don't like the name) but I really like Felicity still

Pandora is nice, but it just makes me think of that bit in Notting Hill "I knew a girl called Pandora once, never got to see her box though" and I just can't take it seriously!

I have a friend with a little girl called Constance but shortens to Connie- i love it, but Connie Curtis doesn't sound good at all.

I think Harriet is nice, and i think Isabelle (izzy) would sound really nice.

Hi Moosy

Libby or Elizabeth is lovely and would go nicely with Ellie and Tabby.

Beatrice is great but then Im biased. shame it doesnt go with your surname.

Cant believe you are only 6wks away!!

GOod luck choosing

Florence shortened to Floss or Flossie is pretty. We know a 13 yr old Betsy which is unusual nowadays. I have a Virginia shortened to Ginny which we really like; also, not so often seen now, I like Victoria (Tory or Vicky); or Georgina, Georgie.

I also like Isabel(Issy)
Penelope(Penny) and
Felicity(Fliss or my best friend is known as Flic)

Oooh I'd forgotten about Felicity, that was on our original list, it was a toss up between that and Penelope which I'd almost settled on but have now gone off. I think Felicity might be winning again.
