Or other variants are Claudella, Claudelle, Claude, Claudetta, Claudina

How about Claudette or Claudine if you think Claudia is too similar to Laura.

Robin is lovely but sounds ridiculous with dp's surname.

I like Claudia, definitely but does it sound too much like Laura? They've both got that "aw" sound in the middle.

I love Mabel. It's the name of my pretend child that I would have if we could have another one and guarantee it was female.

I like Mabel, Felix and Jude. My main criteria for names were that I couldn't know more than 2 children with it so for me Jemima, Orla, Rachel and definitely Elliott would be out.

Mabel is nice.

Not sure about Rachel, sometimes I think it sounds very harsh and I hate Rach but it does fit with my criteria.

Orla is lovely but I think it would sound silly as a sib for Laura.

Rachel? Orla? Mabel?

I like Jemima, I don't think dp does and I do wonder if it's a bit frilly iyswim.

Jed is a bit different to the others isn't it?

Veering towards Elliott for a boy today.

Sorry but I really don't like Jed. I just want to add an 'i' to the end. Tis very different to the solid, old fashoned type names you've mentioned before.

Love Hugh. DS2 was very nearly Hugh, if there is ever a major slip up and we have another baby (that turns out to be a boy!) then he will be Hugh.

Cecily is my fave girls name.
