Another "Dora" name !

Another Dora name (along with Isadora) which I love and is also on my shortlist is Pandora.
Could this work, or is it just too "out there"?

I think Dorothea is a lovely name. Its from a book isn't it but cant remember which one. Charles Dickens I think??

It is probably going to remind all your friends of Adrian Mole, but doubt any of her friends will know of Adrian Mole when she is growing up.

The 'box' things may a bit tricky to live with but if you like the name go with it. My chosen name if this bump is another DD is also a biblical 'baddy' and it doesn't bother me.

Personally I like Isadora though. Pretty and original. (I know a few little Theadora's.)

Yeah drusilla, adrian mole was my first thought too! tbh, i think it is a bit poncey, bu that's a v personal opinion and most people didn't like the girl's name i posted on here a while back.

Don't like it at all. Probably because of Adrian Mole. Much prefer Isadora but best of all is Theadora (which has two great abbreviations).

The Theodoras I have read about have usually been shortened to Theo. Theadora is okay, but not really my style.

Dorinda is a character in a fairytale if I remember correctly. Dorinda and Florizel.

Makes me think of Pandora's Box, and i think the assosiation with Dora the Explorer has spoilt the name Dora somewhat
