Oh and I really like the name Primrose but don't think I would be brave enough.

Oh I know a Primrose and it seems totally normal and lovely once you're used to it.
She gets shortened to Prim sometimes. Honesty not as out there as a LOT of other names I come across.
Use it - it's beautiful!
