Cool boys nicknames

Hi
Our baby boy is a few days old but still nameless. I think he's pretty cool, as do his siblings, so would love to give him a cool name with a longer formal name.

So far have thought of Ace (Wallace or Horace), Rocky (Rocco or Rockwell). Still not totally in love with either so any suggestions welcome!

Shouldn't nicknames evolve naturally?

I find some of the suggestions quite ugly personally, e.g. Woody (erection) or OatyConfused?

Why not choose a name, even a short one, you love as a standalone name?

I think Ace short for Wallace or Horace is really great. Makes me smile. Lovely, happy name for a kid to grow up with and a proper name to grow into when he's older if he doesn't like Ace. (Could you not like Ace?)

I love Jem (possibly heavily influenced by Jamaica Inn), but it's short for Jeremy and i'my not sure how I feel about that

How about Fabio or Fabian

You can then nickname him Fab or Fabs.

Aaidan?

We liked the initials thing...so we have an Aaidan James..aka AJ. You could always do that? Lots of K middle names tend to lend themselves to initial shortening.

My DD is called Amy and her name is often abbreviated to "Ace", so Ace could probably come from any name that starts with a hard A - i.e. Aidan rather than Anthony.

Ace could be: Mason, Grayson, Avery

No suggestions, but just to say I love Kit, Art and Vinnie suggested above.

I also kind of like Wallace, but think I'm in the minority by the looks of things! Anyway I really don't like Ace as a nn, it's a bit cheesy in my head, but each to their own and all that.

Congratulations on the new arrival OP Flowers.
