Thanks for all the responses!
Grin at the Bill and Ben references. It was mentioned a bit in RL when DS2 was born but I never think about it now because It just their names! We never use Bill for William so it never really occurs to me. Wink

We do love classic names and I agree with the poster that anything too "fashionable" wouldn't really fit.

I hadn't thought of Catherine but it's a front runner having read this thread because it's also a name that means something to me and would be a lovely way to remember a loved one. I can't believe I didn't think of it before.

I'll have to mull over the boys names but there's some fab ideas mentioned.

I'll try to remember to update after the scan

Robert/Roberta.

Then you will have Billy, Benjy and Bobby.
The added bonus being that when you label school uniform with "B.Surname", you will be able to it down to the next child without the horrific task of unpicking the old label and sewing in the new ones. Trust me, with 3 in the school system, this is as genius idea. Halo

William, Benjamin and David
William, Benjamin and Andrew
William, Benjamin and Peter

I would stick to classic names, used through the ages. Any slightly trendy, of the moment name (like Theo, and Toby to an extent- always around but currently really "in") might sound a bit jarring.
The above names I've suggested are great IMO(!) because lovely, classic names which actually sound very fresh at the moment.

With girls

William, Benjamin and Mary
William, Benjamin and Catherine
William, Benjamin and Susanna
(all for similar reasons as above!)

The two names you already have are my DS1 and my nephew. Sophronias list includes DS2 & 3 and the middle names of all 4 boys, so I would say something from that would go well!

For girls, our list was Kate, Zoe, Tess, Charlotte, Nina.
