Hey there just wondered if anyone had any opions on my shortlist...I only have a week to go and we can't decide. Little one will have an older brother called George and our surname ends in 'ey'. Thank you!

Girls: Middle name would be May or Rose....
Betty -
Bella - Love but not really a twilight fan - is it very over used now?
LuLu - DH not keen on this but I have always loved it!

Boys: Middle name would be Ronald
Ted
Ralph
Sidney
Harry
Fred

if your dh doesn;t like Lulu IMO take it out of the list

Sidney is lovely as is Ralph Both unusual without being weird type names.

Another vote for Louisa May or Louisa Rose.

Lulu is a cute nickname but it doesn't really work as a full name and it would be hard to make the child to adult transition.

Bella - Like although similar to lots of popular girls names (isabella, ella, etc)
LuLu - Better for a pet than a person!


Ted - Like a lot
Ralph - memories of that book we all read as young teens... Forever?
Sidney - Love
Harry - Like although loads around
Fred - Love but dislike Freddie

They all sound a bit nicknamey. I would think about using full versions on birth certificate.

From your boys' list I really like Sidney and Ralph! I don't really like Ted (sounds like Teddy Bear), Fred (Flintstones) or Harry (so overused round here).

I like Ted and Ralph from your boys names. Betty is the only one I would go for from your girls names. I strongly dislike the boring Rose or May as a middle name, unless they are family names, just don't do it.

I like Bella. I would love LuLu as well if short for something like Eloise or Louisa. I don't like it as a name in its own right.
