Help me choose a boy's name

Which of these do you think is the nicest boy's name? The surname begins with L, in case that helps. I will put them in order of my preference - help will be appreciated!

  1. Wesley (I like this because it's unusual in our area and quite old fashioned)
  2. Lewis
  3. Jared
  4. Rob

Those are my top 4 but I'm stuck between them!

Lewis is the best from your list imo, but not really that keen on any of them. Sorry but I think Wesley is awful and Rob just seems incomplete. Jared sounds very american.

WhatsGoingOnEh I love Leander. Never heard that one before, will look up the meaning.

brokenhearted55a you have just made me laugh out loud with the 'criminal activity' comment. I can totally see what you mean, rapidly going off that name.

I like Lawrence, and its shortened form Larry.

Leander? Leander Lake sounds quite smart to me.

Oliver is very very popular, if that matters to you

Great suggestions everyone. I still like Lewis although DP isn't keen!! Oliver is quite nice and so is Marcus. I like Michael but my sister has a Michael so that's out.

Three-syllable first names would go well with Lake. Like, Oliver Lake. Christian Lake. Jonathan Lake. Dominic, Abraham, etc.

Or Emerson? ;)

I like Lewis and Jared, but will suggest Conrad and Wreford as you're after more suggestions.

Hmm I might rethink. I'm looking for something that's not too common and would go well with our surname. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Love Wesley, but not sure how wll it works with Lake.

Dislike the name Jared, and don't like the alliteration of Lewis. Robert Lake sounds fine, but Rob Lake sounds a bit, '80s movie star-esque.'

not keen on Wesley. Wesley Lake sounds a bit of a mouthful. Lewis Lake sounds like a pretty cool dude though.

...I though Lois lane too.

I like Jared best. Not that keen on Wesley, I get that it is unusual nowadays but it makes me think Weasley or Weasel y
