Just that. What do you think of the name and what or who does it remind you of? Have 2 months left to decide!

I really like it.

Grin at your husband's view of Tessa. I see Tessa as a minor character in either Malory Towers or Midsummer Murders. (ie no-one really exists called Tessa do they? )

I know a couple aged 8. It's ok.

Great names magic star.

Peanut. I too cannot stand Tess Daly and her fake robotic presenting. It is the one thing that has def turned me off the name!

Thanks everyone for your input. Really appreciate it. It is DH's favorite although I'm still not so sure!

I really fancy the name Tessa but DH says it is the name of a 50something social worker or someone who works in Higher Education and shops at EAST. It has colored my view now!!! :)

I absolutely love it.
I've never known a Carmen in real life, so it makes me think of Bizet's beautiful music.

This was my favourite name when I was younger, really wanted to be called it! Unfortunately it was vetoed by my boyfriend when naming our baby.

I like it - it sounds strong but feminine. Slightly Spanish feel.
