Does this pass the High Court judge test? I've only known one in RL and she was quite posh. Or is it a bit strippery now?

With blond tresses, busty and cheerful :-)

Two blonde plaits tied around her head and skipping down a mountain with a basket of flowers.

Seriously, it is the name of DD's hairdresser and she a lovely, smiley sort of woman.

My 2 year old Heidi is cheeky, beautiful and very active!
We loved the name because it is a strong but rarely used name.

I know a Heidi. She is Swiss and in her 60s. She is very nice.

Considered Heidi for DD, and then changed to Claudia (pronounced Cloud-ia). She is called neither of those!

We had 2 at our school both known locally as the village bikes.

Before knowing them Heidi always made me think of a little girl who live up a mountain with goats and had a friend called Clara.

The name has worked very well for me: baby, toddler, child, teen, student and adult.

One whose mother didn't understand that she was naming an adult woman, not just a bay and a toddler.

"Blonde, Swiss, lives up a mountain with her grandfather, has a friend in a wheelchair, fond of goats."

This made me smile squoosh, it was my favourite cartoon as a child (but she had black hair!)

I am! :-) I know 3 Heidis. 2 grammar school girls, the other now a very successive personal trainer. We are all successful in our own fields.
The High court judge test is a little limiting when it comes to girls' names anyway! Grin

Bloody annoying midwife. In my experience

I would probably expect her to be Scandinavian/Austrian/German

Sporty, freckles, fair hair. Popular

I know two Heidis - both late thirties, and both dark.
Both successful, one having run her own business stright out of school, and the other has a PhD.

I like the name, as I associate it with the two women I know.

a rebel, if she's like the only one I ever knew... rebelling against her 'clean living' name, I shouldn't wonder

I can. Because by the time she's fifty, all the sixty year olds will be Molly, Milly, Tilly, Lily, Lila and Lola so Heidi will sound strong in comparisonl

Pretty. But can't imagine a fifty something called Heidi.
