Dulcie Florabel
Mabel clementine
Flora Myrtle

Florabel, clementine and myrtle are firmly middle names, but other than that Im not adverse to switching them about a bit.
Which is your favourite combination?

Flora Clementine

My DD is Flora and I only didn't choose Clementine for a middle name as I was saving it in case a DD2 showed up!

It's fine....I'm not easily dissuaded, I did ask for opinions,and anyway,you weren't exactly offensive!

I'm not telling anyone the name until the baby's born anyway,so I could change my mind once she arrives. But unless she really doesn't look like a Dulcie,I reckon it's the one I'm happiest with...

I always feel rotten saying anything negative on these threads! I feel i want to say solemnly ''but you must use the name you like and don't worry about everyone else''.

Which is stupid as it's a name discussion thread on a name discussion forum.

Sorry, i had to get that off my chest Grin

Sounds like you've decided but I love all the first-name options. Dd1 is Mabel and her little sister's middle name is clementine. Dulcie was on my list but DH wasn't keen. Ruled out flora due to slightly bigoted distant rellie with that name...

I like Flora Clementine.

It has the nicest rhythm to me. And i'm not keen on Mabel or Dulcie tbh, (sorry) i find them both old ladyish in a bad way.

I feel like Dulcie Clementine is becoming top of my list...
DP likes Flora best, but says I can't choose whichever I like best.

Mabel has sentiment to me (it was my nan's mn,I also just happen to love it) but I was never sure we should go down that route as we didn't 'do' family names with the other DC,and it seems silly to start now seeing as this will be our last baby and there are four sides of a family to 'please' with Family names....

Also I reckon Dulcie sounds best with the other DC...

Skye,Arlo and Dulcie.
Hmm.

Dulcie Clementine

I like them all actually, but out of the middle names, Clementine is my absolute favourite, so I vote for Mabel Clementine.

Kind of wish it was my DD's middle name Grin

"...sounds like you've just tagged bel on to the end of a random name. disclaimer it might be a real name but it sounds wrong."

Love Dulcie, Mabel and Flora

NOT florabel though! that sounds like you've just tagged bel on to the end of a random name. disclaimer it might be a real name but it sounds wrong.

If I had to pick one I'd pick Dulcie. I've only ever known one.

Flora...hate the other 2 names!

Flora also makes me think of the possible teasing opportunities when older.

I like Dulcie Clementine followed by Mabel Clementine. I like Flora the least of the three but this may be because I knew a Flora who wasn't very nice. The name itself is pretty.

Yes,Dulcie is pronounced Dul-see/Dol-see

I hadn't thought of how close it was to Darcey.
I still like it though Grin
The Dull thing doesn't bother me,neither does the 'animal' names thing...

So I'm still no closer to deciding!

All nice names for a cow.

(Said by a mum who gave her DS a very popular name for a cat)

I went to college with a Dulcie (had never heard the name before). She was looooooovely and I have ever since thought it a very pretty name. Really dislike Darcey though, and had never realised they sound quite similar, duh Hmm.
