What do you think of Ada?

Due with DD2 in a month. DD1 is Tabitha. We both love Ada but I have slight reservations because its so short - not sure why that's making me think twice. Middle name possibly Grace or Poppy...

Ada is okay. It doesn't evoke particularly strong feelings either way with me.

I have also met a Turkish Ada who pronounced it Adder. For a long time I thought it was a different name! I prefer the Ae-der pronounciation personally.

I really like it, I much prefer it to Ava. I think its simple but beautiful.
You could always go with Adeline if you wanted a longer full name. Tabitha & Adeline?

I like it but might be scared off because it makes me think lf this indescribably weird Nabokov novel called Ada or ardor, which I think is the russian pronunciation. OTOH Ada Lovelace was awesome.

My daughter is named Ada after the song by The National! Good call TheAccidentalExhibitionist.

I like it, it's a nice alternative to Ava, which is overused. I much prefer Ava Grace to Ava Poppy, it flows better.
