Looking at the national statisitics James is top 10 and has been for a long time, but how many do you know?

I can only think of one in ds pre school, it doesn't seem that popular around here.

I only know 2 little boys called James - I'm quite surprised it is so popular according to the stats tbh! I seem to know so many Noah's, Archie's and Alfie's etc.. I like it as it will never sound dated.

In almost 5 years of working in my nursery, we haven't had any James'.

We have had two Jamie's, one of each sex.

DS1 is James. In foundation class, there were 3 James' but two of them left for other schools in year one and from then on he was the only one.

My ds is James. I don't know any others his age (2). I know a few older ones. It was never going to be a unique name but I love it!

My 25 year old cousin, two 30+ year olds in one small workplace and one 8 year old. It is very common as a middle name because it's a nice, simple name and goes with everything. Nothing flowed correctly with my DS's names except for James and Jack so we stuck with them.

I know A LOT!! But it's still a lovely strong, solid, traditional name.

I know 2 who are 2 years old. Have counted the people with 2 year olds I know well and would consider friends- so that's 2/19. (Also know various older ones through work etc)
