We found out today that I'm having a boy! Already have a dd so we are very chuffed! Have lots of girls names but not really any boys.

I like Theo - dh hates it
Dh likes Jimmy - I dont like this

Would really like a strong name, open to all suggestions. Thanks

Same as confused, was hoping to nick a few more ideas.......but all the hostility.....Wink.

My dh suggested Ronnie, but that's in the same camp as Jimmy and Vinnie imo. Gangsters! Either that or -gnomes- Ronnie Corbett.

I love Leo, Arlo, Lucas and Grey. He doesn't.

We both like Max, but doesn't go with our surname at all.

Dd has suggested Cyril.......

My goodness...hostility! I can't see what all the drama is about Hmm offers OP Wine

I was going to suggest:
Richard
Henry
John
James with nn Jimmy
Edward
Gavin
Matthew
Simon
Andrew
Mark
Jonathan
Daniel

IMO Theo isn't a 'strong' name, Theodore would be much better. {ducks just in case}

Hope you are right, Bandwithering. What a peculiar comment, otherwise.

I think the OP must have had two threads open and commented on the wrong thread!

Did some people expect him to have fur lockets? Wink

It's lovely actually.

OP- what's your DD's name, so we can avoid same initial letter, or completely non-matching names (e.g. LaFawnda and Tarquin)

And all you people above, hostilely making name suggestions- shame on you you big name helpers.

Hostility??? Bizzarre...

All I can see is a load of people taking time out of their busy lives to offer a complete stranger helpful suggestions.

Oh well, as the saying goes, don't let the door....

Oh, were we all supposed to congratulate you on your pregnancy, and get excited that all wen't well at your scan, and get EXCITED that you are having a boy? Sorry. Confused

Eh, what hostility? Confused

If you think this is hostility, then maybe we are not the site for you.

Have a Brew

For what it's worth I like Jimmy, but would have James on the birth certificate.
