I have a couple of websites that I use but I'm quite new at sewing and am looking for recommendations for good, reliable fabric websites. Thanks.

My fabric rehab arrived this morning. So 7 working days after order, I suppose that's not too bad. I think I'm just impatient because I really want to start my project. :)

Addict not addition!

I'm a bit disappointed with fabric rehab. I placed an order after reading this thread on the 23rd Jan and I'm still waiting. The emailed on the 30th Jan to tell me one of the fabrics was out of stick and would this alternative do? I emailed back yes and they said it would be dispatched on the 31st and to allow 5 working days for delivery. Maybe I'm just impatient but I'd have expected service to be a little quicker. I'll try plush addition next I think.

Thanks for the Minerva recommendation.
I'm kicking myself to have missed the Anna Maria Horner Feathered fabric. I could get some fromthe USA but it costs as much to post as it does to buy . Someone really ought to have a word with the buyers in John Lewis haberdashery.

Have you looked at Minera Crafts? They have a massive selection, including some viscose. They also have a bloggers network which is good for inspiration and if you see something you like made by one of the bloggers then you can buy a kit (fabric, thread, zips etc) to replicate.

Love the Fabric Rehab and Seamstar sites. Bookmarked. Smile I'd like to find gorgeous prints in viscose. I've got a lovely dress from White Stuff in viscose that drapes beautifully. I find 100% cotton adds bulk and jersey is awful on me - clings in the wrong places and shows every lump, bump and line.

So if anyone knows of anywhere, please could you let me know?

HectorVector I tend to make quilts with Fat Quarter bundles but there are lots of other patterns to make with fat quarters. I think the Sew Mama Sew blog had a big list of some here

I use FB co-op groups mostly, there are quite a few out there if you search.
Also, //www.fabric.com, Rooftop Fabrics, //www.fabricland.co.uk, and rijstextiles.com/.

If you are doing a big project importing from //www.fabric.com can be a good deal.

Can I ask what you make with the bundles? 50x50cm isn't going to make you much?! Or is it purely for quilting?

I'm very new to sewing - can you tell?

I've used

www.fabricland.co.uk/
But you'll need shades as it has to be the worst website in the world, fabric not bad though if you can bear it!

Also
www.remnanthouse.co.uk/
www.whitelodgefabric.com/engine/shop/index.html
www.croftmill.co.uk/
www.cheapfabrics.co.uk/thestore/
dittofabrics.co.uk/
www.myfabrics.co.uk/
www.fabric-dreams.co.uk/
www.stonefabrics.co.uk/
www.calicolaine.co.uk/
tissufabric.com/fabric-store/

There's also a couple of good sellers on eBay - Maggies Fab Fabrics is one.

Can you tell I have a bit if a problem when it comes to fabric Blush
