I've finished my granny blanket! Woohoo! I have some pesky ends to see in but nearly there. It looks fab, I'll take a pic and upload it.
Now to decide in next project... :)

I am crocheting a rectangle pillow cover. I was unwell with flu for one week so will have to restart the crocheting tonight. I have chosen a difficult pattern, star stitch. I guess it will take me weeks before I finally finish this cover. The stitch is easy but you do have to count all the time.

I am making crochet 'trainers' (trainer-shaped booties) for my DS that I found on Pinterest. However, as always, I've done the first one and now can't be bothered to do it all again!

Another rippler here and I've just started on a flowers in the snow blanket too, rather optimistically hoping to have both done for the caravan this summer.....

A two-tone turquoise owl hat with earflaps for my ds. I'm so excited about this one i've already got the wool lined up to do one in blues! Pity he's 11mo and going through a 'get this thing off my head!' stage.

I believe somewhere there is an unfinished amigurumi monster waiting for legs, but it's been so long now I'm worried that if i make them he'll use them to come after me and kill me...

I am trying to do a granny square blanket. I have only ever done little baby blankets and one massive blanket in one huge square. I am just learning to join them. you tube is my friend.

judgejudy - is that from a pattern? - my friend's grandson is mad about Room on the Broom, I'd love to make him one of those Smile

I'm making myself a big sort of wrap/stole thing, - I'm making up the pattern, - I got a whole load of balls of gorgeous white silk mix wool in a charity shop, - I think I'll still have some left over when I've finished the stole. I doing an open stitch on a large hook to make it look lacy.

I'm exactly half way through my granny ripple blanket. Going to take it out tonight when kids are in bed and dp is in work and get another good run at it. I'm also looking at patterns for a little bag for dd1s communion if anyone has seen anything nice?

Granny stripe blanket. It's now looking less like a large scarf and more like it might one day be blankety. I've also tried some hexagons which will probably turn into a cushion.

My family members are now crocheting a quilt together. each of us is assigned with a part, once all parts were finished, we would put them together! :)

I'm doing a granny stripe which I just keep adding to Inbetween bunging it on the pram and a granny square patchwork.

Does anyone have a pattern/can advise a quick way to knock up some baby mittens i.e. don't need thumbs. Would I just decrease at the top few rows? Eg tr2tog? Newbie, sorry! Grin

Yet another Ripple-er here! I got the wool for Christmas & started mid Jan. I'm doing 10 repeats, I think, and it's somewhere between single and double bed sized.

17 colours and I'm on row 21. Of many!

Determined to make this perfect, so lots of pulling out at the beginning, but now (touch wood) it's going OK.

I am making butterflies for my sister to make into bunting for my newborn niece...also been practising my bobble stitch and am making a little blankie for my niece after being completely flattered at how much they loved the big blanket I made for her...I'm now at their mercy and will happily crochet anything for her!!

Only been crocheting 3 weeks and am already addicted. Just finished a scarf for me and a smaller one for DD. On to a crochet hook roll in The Complete Guide to Crochet magazine... not totally sure I understand the pattern though, so could take a while Grin

I did change the white round little bit, it didn't look right to me. I can't remember now what I did, it's written down somewhere... I do have a photo on my profile too.
Now I've just decided to finish all the 'flowers' first and then start joining them all. About 40 more flowers to go at the moment...

That's the one I'm doing too PrettyPirate. It's beautiful isn't it. Really clear instructions I think too.

Another ripple here, in RICO Creative Cotton. It goes in fits & starts but one day - one day - I'm determined to finish! It's only lap-blanket size, too Blush
