Do makeup artists/dermetologists ever get annoyed at MLM schemes?

Currently 2 females on my Facebook creating videos about skincare with Tropic whilst also lecturing about how awful other brands are. I just find it strange how people suddenly become experts in their MLM field just by paying £150 or whatever it is starting pack fee.
Am I being unreasonable?

@Jngtik they regurgitate posts made by others, information sourced by others (that’s usually drastically lacking in factual information) and know full well they’re scamming people but care more about the money. When they realise they’re making fuck all they’ll stop with the videos and posts but you’ll always know they gave more of a crap about money than about their friends and family so I’d cut them off now. Can’t stand MLM scammers.

@CatsHairEverywhere2 oh I know too well; the woman from my school who now has 5 team members, messaged me last year (before I knew she did Tropic) and she started off saying how she misses me and hopefully we can go for a meal at some point. We had a lovely message over messenger than all of a sudden she was telling me about Tropic.
Now I have no interest whatsoever in paying Tropic prices (too expensive for me) so trying to tell her i'm not interested was a ballache as she kept spamming me basically; messages about free facials, sample size products etc. I stopped replying in the end

I posted on a parenting fb page asking for a weather barrier cream for my tiny toddler and got loads of requests for tropic stuff! I doubt it's recommended for babies and children!!
As an aside, when I did bodyshop my skin did look a lot better but I think it was purely just taking the time to actually have a skincare routine if that makes sense?
