It's incredible!
But I've seen it discussed almost no where. Seemingly no buzz about it?!

It's as brilliant, if not more so, than Liz Bonnin's Drowning in plastic. Which I've seen loads of chat about online, lots of reposts and shares.

I think being eco friendly will be very much the mainsteam and cool, excepted thing to do within the next 10 years. Rather on the fringe. We'll wonder why we werent all buying sustainable sourced fashion, ditching plastics and reducing comsumption....here's hoping!!

I vannot access iplayer, i live in forrin.

What's the gist? El cheapo Primark = shit conditions for the workers + crap quality = people chuck jt away more frequently = landfill. That kind of thing?

I love shopping in charity shops but there aren't any where i live, so i visit them when back in the UK. Otherwise i shop in the sales, carefully, look after my clothes and wear the same things for years. Always have.

We swap children's clothes between others, i'd say roughly 60% ds' clothes are 2nd hand. Clothes that are fit for the bin are turned into cleaning rags first.

We avoid Primark. But i shop in H&M, Zara and other Inditex shops (Massimo Dutti, Bershka), plus other Spanish brands that aren't in the UK (El Corte Ingles, Cortefiel Adolfo Dominguez). I have the odd Desigual bits. I am under no illusion that Zaea and H&M also have dodgy ethics and use sweatshops - as do Nikee, Dissney ALLEGEDLY. (Mispelled to avoid being sued!)

I don't earn enough to spend €100 on a plain white tshirt that has been ethically sourced.
