Having a hideous time of it at the mo.

I’ve just eaten a steak sandwich with horseradish, and a glass of red in 0.5 seconds- and it was delicious,

AIBU to say that it was just a snack, and I might have some of the beef bourignon that’s in the oven, later, for second dinner hobbit-style (is intended for tomorrow’s lunch)?

I work in hospitality and I take enormous responsibility to ensure everything I recommend to my customers is excellent. Today I have mainly been eating desserts. We've 4 on the new menu and I had to make sure they were perfect.

YABU to eat it with horseradish. That’s for roast beef. Steak sandwich requires mustard! Or even better, a bit of blue cheese and a bit of sweet chilli sauce might just be me

Thats what we had about an hour ago. Always been mustard for me in steak sandwich but will give that blue cheese and sweet chilli a go very soon. Grin

You're all wrong. Horseradish is a far superior condiment - was looking for blue cheese but appear to have eaten it all :(

Firstly how was the steak cooked? Anything other than rare and yabu full stop.

Steak sandwich should have fried onions with it, no sauce, cheese or anything other than a very light sprinkling of salt needed.
