To think having concussion is enough to stop me doing this

Meant to be helping MIL today with a stall selling the things she sells. She asked me a few days ago as SIL was meant to be helping but found something better to do as always. I begrudgingly agreed as my MIL is not the sort to put herself out for anyone but I thought be the bigger person.
Yesterday I had a fit banged my head and was taken to A & E and was told I had concussion, was kept for observation for quite a few hours then sent home and told to rest. DH rang MiL last night and told her I can’t help.
This morning DH has dropped DS at school breakfast club then me at my Mums so I am not alone (she would normally come to me but she has a bad back). Just got a text from MiL saying she will be round to pick me up at half 9.
I got the text ten minutes after she knows DH would have usually left for work if he had not been dropping me at my mums.
DH told her last night I could not do it, She had form for ignoring stuff that does not suit her. so do I
A. Ignore and let her just come to our house, knock and find no one in (She does not have a key) plus ignore all phone calls.

B. Ring DH at work and let him know MIL has texted me and let him deal with it (he will be fuming) DHs office is very laid back and doubt this would not be an issue

C. Ring or text MIL myself, but if I do I will get the huge sob story of she has to do it on her own which she is perfectly capable of doing.

D. Let my Mum loose on her (she is scared of my mum)

My mum has helped me type this as I am a bit dizzy and sick, she wants the mumsnet jury to pick D but I think maybe for the sake of Inlaw relations...... Grin. Then again.......Grin

Please start a blog. Accidentally send it to them when you have a nice catalogue of insanity. Or a monthly newsletter with the highlights of their insanity

Yep I have posted before about batshit SIL. I could do loads of posts a week about them. I think DH must have seriously been swapped at birth, he doesn’t even look like any of them Grin

I remember one of your other threads about your utterly vile SIL. Your DH may not be able to go NC with them but you can. They're utterly vile and treat you appallingly (except FIL but he has a lack of spine) tell them to go fuck themselves or unleash MummyChocy. Hope you're feeling better

I am feeling better thanks, no she did not ask my mum how I was

SIL rang DH at work to say my mum had really upset MIL, when DH asked how SIL just kept saying it was my mums tone of voice. DH said “yes and she will hear my tone of voice later as well”

When DH got home he rang but FIL picked up the phone and said MIL has gone to bed with a HEADACHE Angry, as she was so rushed off her feet today. DH asked him if he knew what MiL had done and just got told to “leave it son”

DH will not be leaving it and my inlaws are even more batshit then I thought

Ok I am awake. Been flat out all day.
My MiL rang and my mum answered, before my mum could say anything she went into a rant about “where the hell am I come and answer the door”
My mum then spoke and said “Chocy has concussion of which I believe you are well aware after Mr Chocy ran you last night” she is on the sofa fast asleep and is not going anywhere”
My MIL then stuttered about a misunderstanding and put the phone down
Mr Chocy is ringing her tonight

I thought for a minute your DH had just perhaps texted her last night and she might have missed it. But he RANG and spoke to her and she still does this? Unbelievable.

I know DH is dealing with it but I think it only fair you unleash your mum just in case TBH. Grin
