To tell you about my dirty lunch?

I have a day at home alone today. Upon mooching around in the fridge just now, I delightedly came upon a few left over roast potatoes from Sunday lunch. I've just popped them in the oven and am planning on crushing them, adding grated cheese and smothering them in mayo.

My defence for this dirty lunch is I'm full of cold and ravenous. I deserve it.

Anyone else having a dirty lunch? What's your excuse?

Tomato bread sandwich with rocket and quails eggs that have been marinated in Umbongo (with a peanut butter foam)

On Saturday me and DH had sort of fried breakfast sarnie ( bacon haggis and egg in an oven bottom) but for lunch, THEN we had a shag and THEN we had some wine.....now THATS a dirty lunch!

Eggy bread with loads of salt and tomato sauce with a side of square sausage. It was delish!

I didn't get the chance to have a dirty lunch today, but at some point this week I intend to have some spaghetti, slathered in butter and cheese and salt and a bit of garlic powder. It's not what my body would want but my mind is saying "Give it to meeee!"

Ok, I've had a dirty dinner. DS didn't eat all the steak I made him, So I sliced it up, fried up some onions stuck it in a baguette with a big slab of brie on top. washed it down with a (ahem) Diet coke.
Going to snuffle in the fridge for an eclair and make a cuppa.

We're already halfway through January. Any vague attempts at dieting are now dead...!

I want the fries I had at our local burger place (they've stopped doing them now - it was a special).

Seasoned, skin on skinny fries, melted 'plastic' cheese sliced, caramelised onions and burger sauce.

This has made me hungry - all these lunches sound great. Far better than my miserable Philly on crackers. I want to go to the chippy now and have a chip and cheese butty - with mayo.
