There's a lot of cuteness on this thread. I don't have any pets. OP YANBU, but I feel some other MNetters with other animals are - the OP first post distinctly refers to pets but with honourable exception of endoflevelbaddy they are all cats. (But what gorgeous ones and a cute dog too).

We love her so much, she's a lovely cat even though she wakes me at 6.30 every weekend. That's the time I wake for work and I think she thinks she's being helpful waking me. She's content here.

Meet my little lady, she's a Bengal named Lena and we got her from the rescue despite never being a cat person, I saw her and my heart melted. We love her very much, I suppose as much as her last elderly owner who passed away and the family put her in a rescue centre.
