That my babysitter accepted a lift home with DD by a friend of mine from school without checking it was ok?

Eh? Confused
Why don't you dripfeed us the rest of the story already. The friend was drunk? Your DD was thrown in the boot?

More details needed- was there enough seats/seat belts? Was she supposed to be in a car seat but wasn't? A friend of yours- so I'm assuming it's someone you know?

So why are you annoyed? Presumably you don't expect your babysitter to run every decision they make past you? What makes this one so special?

what's the problem, short of absence of appropriate car seat?

Really cannot see an issue here at all.

Don’t you trust your babysitter or your friend? Confused

So you trust this babysitter to look after your child but you think they are not adult enough to judge if it’s ok to accept a lift or not

If DD was secure and in a car seat then yabu.
If no car seat then yanbu.

Not sure I see the problem.

You just said it's a friend of yours?

What's the problem

Tinselistacky · 23/11/2017 18:35

Surely you trust them both with your dd?
